Fed side. Defiant, whiptastic handling. Excelsior, all purpose tank.

KDF side. Guramba, love my fugly facehugger. Neg'var, it's just a beast.

Sorry, Romulan ships are meh, don't really have a favorite.

I have a soft spot for the Star Crusier in game. It's not really the best combatant, but it really feels like it was made for a different era than the current war.

I do really like the Guardian right now, it's an elegant design, but the old standbys of Excelsiors and Galaxies remain.

I also like the Ha'apax for some reason. It feels very Romulan.

Nice to see some love for this one. I still very much like my kitbashed version of it too.

My top ship is still the Blockade Runner (Steamrunner), which has the advantage of not only being my favorite Trek design but it also fits my prefered playing style of more tanky escorts like a glove.

Of the Cryptic originals, it's probably the Romulan Daeinos, but there's a lot of competition for that spot. On the whole, I've enjoyed most of the original designs Cryptic have created, especially for the Romulans.

I'm really digging my Plesh Brek Raiders.

Improved Raider Flanking and a relatively customizable boff layout.

By visual appeal it's a Galaxy, Gal-X or D'Deridex, none of which I own beyond the T3 DD you get for free on Romulans.

D'Kora, Galor and any BoP are also good.

I think you can figure out which Trek is my favorite.

      My Sheshar Dreadnaught.

Large and very much in charge.

3 piece console set = I Win button.

Override safties and BFAW = a whole heap of dead ships, very quickly.

      Its a monster.

Galor. I've only very reluctantly decided to mothball it because I'm interested in trying a more offensive playstyle than I was using before (a balance of defence plus attack). I will say that the Risian Corvette I'm using just now is brilliant (especially the turn rate).

Actually i have no fav ship in STO.
Either one ship looks good but performs horrible or vice versa (for my playstyle).

The Mogai, for its balance of durability, nimbleness, and hitting power. I'd like to see a T6 version sporting Cmdr/Lt Tac, Lt Eng, Lt Sci, and LtC Universal/Pilot.

It doesn't hurt in the least that it's beautiful, and a canon design.

T-2 Constitution for low end content. fT5-U Excelsior for everything else.

Both armed with (Blue) Retro-Phaser Banks, and Photons (Plus a Mine Rack for the Excelsior). :D

I like variety so that excludes any one ship, but forced to choose one at this very moment, this may come as a surprise as it did to me:

T6 Intel Romulan Science Warbird, with its flight deck, battle cloak and singularity powers. Ok, so it doesn't exist, and may never exist at this rate, doesn't stop me from making a Rom-Sci Delta Recruit in hopes 'the other' factions get some attention, for once. Ok, back to the sad reality:

Tulwar Dreadnought, with the 3-pack consoles, or Scimitar for 4 or 5 tac consoles but with the Tulwar skin.

I actually find it a true challenge to fly in PvE because with the setup it's slow, fragile, and requires planning, thinking ahead, and adapting to the situation. When done right, the abilities make it feel very capable and menacing, plus it's a flexible ship. Glad there is no T6 intel/command/pilot 3-pack variant of it, cause I'd be forced to get it one way or another and stop at nothing .

Fed: Vesta with the 3 consoles, cause it's also most multi-task intensive, flexible, and capable, plus it's a team player as much as solo who can hold its own, and like the Tulwar is a thing of beauty. I tend to use the Aventine skin but with the Vesta nacelles.

Oh, can't pick just one so I'll go with a few :D

      1. Sovereign: she's my favorite starship in Star Trek and I still have her in STO (waiting for T6 version currently). Did I forgot to mention that she's most beautifully designed ship ever!

      2. Galaxy/Venture X: Recently got it (fleet version) and she's really great, iconic ship.

      3. Galor: Cardassians are my favorite race and STO version of this ship is really really powerful. Also I'm very fond of their design. It's different, uniqe and pretty in its own way. And while Galor is great, I would really like to see a playable Keldon in the future as she is even more prettier and more powerful as well :D

      4. Avenger: Quick and powerful little ship. Not so pretty as those mentioned before, but still decent enough.

      5. Prometheus: The one and only four-nacelled canon ship that is absolutely gorgeous and powerful too.

There are more (like Odyssey, Nebula, Luna, Akira, Negh'Var, Vor'Cha, D'deridex, Mogai...), but these are my current top 5 favorites. Ok, I wasn't counting my own designs, but they are neither canon and neither in game so they couldn't be on this list anyway :D
FED ENG: FA Sirius Verax (USS Leviathan) , FED TAC (Delta): FA Adria Tyllex (USS Thunderblade) , ROM TAC: ADM Kill'ina (IRW Imperix Thrai) , KLING ENG (Delta): LT. GEN Ghol'Vaq Martok (IKS Qeh'Ral II) - 44th Fleet member

      So many to choose from.

I love any of the Vestas because they are all sexy, powerful, and even all have parts that combine well in the ship editor unlike many of the other ships.

I love the Sovereign because of that it's a great ship in this game, but most especially because of First Contact and that awesome scene where Worf and the Defiant are saved by it soaring into battle taking hits from the Borg and returning fire.

I love the Excelsior because it's sleek and ages very well in Star Trek. (Timeless kind of look I'm glad the Command Cruisers adopted.)

But perhaps above all of the others, I love the Defiant best. Is it the hull layout, the quad phaser cannons, the cloaking device? I don't know, but it's a thing of beauty.

This is always a difficult question... I guess I like many ships.

As I'm reading the borg (2381) invasion novel, my first Star Trek book, I would consider the Vesta to be my favorite ship atm.
Also like the Regent/Sovereign class a lot as First Contact was the first Star Trek movie I ever saw.

I'm also exploring the Voth ships now, already have the Palisade for my most recent character, hoping to get a Bastion Flight Deck cruiser soon (opened 25 boxes, no luck so far :( ).

I don't like Klingon ships much, but the Negh'Var looks nice. For Romulans I'd choose the Mogai, or the new Command ship.

      The Vulcan D'Kyr Science Vessel

It's just my thing, though I reeeeeeeeally wish they would release some of the other great Vulcan ships, maybe even that future one! that would be really interesting.

My favourite would have to be the D'kora, because of the availability of the bank, mail and exchange onboard ship. It saves alot of time, when doing exchange transactions, buying and selling etc.

D'Kora's UI is terrible, even Cell Ship's UI is much better.

Always was the Intrepid and it's ilk... always...

I'm a big fan of Voyager... hated the writing... but I thought the actors really did well with the TRIBBLE they were fed to read each week... and the concept was just great... I really feel that a lot of what was wrong with Voyager can be laid down at the production teams feet.

That and I love science concepts in my MMOs... so the ship in all it's forms is just my favorite.

Favorite ship in the show, or favorite ship in the game? Your original post seems to have argued based on 'in the game.'

Currently, the Temporal Destroyer. I don't even use it for science powers, but instead drop fleet consoles into those science console slots to up my damage. I drop an engineer into the LtC spot with RSP and run the ship with Aux2Bat and it had some sweet survivability even before I had unlocked any ship specializations or traits.

I used it in random queue's with people I couldn't depend on at all, and I loved it.

T5-U Fleet K'tinga retrofit. Great turn rate and with the right specs it can be tough and hard hitting. Fun to fly.

      Undine Nicor Bio-Warship.

Out of all my ships, this one is the one I can't seem to leave - and I have Wells, Mobius, S'golth, Monbosh, FPER, Fleet Defiant, Fleet MVAE, Regent, Avenger, and others to pick from.

It really is the perfect ship. Commander tac, LtC sci, enough engi room for full Aux2bat. Five tac consoles, four sci. 4/4 gun layout. Agility of an escort, hull of a light cruiser, decent shields and science facilities you'd find on many proper sci ships. Performs *fantastically* in PVP, and with this setup (which is now becoming popular) it can easily beat the pants off any new-fangled T6.

Are we talking Canon or in game?

Canon I love the Prometheus, it's sleek, stylish, and MVAM was completely devastating.

In game...well I don't have it but for a million reasons I want it...the Sheshar.

      1) Breen Sarr Theln Carrier, because i have to wait 10 months to get one, but i want it NOW!

      2) Fleet Norgh Bird-of-Prey Retrofit, because i was assuming as KDF Romulan i could also fly all KDF ships, imagine my rage as i noticed this only works up to Tier4 :(

      3) Risian Luxury Cruiser, because i will never own one and it looks cool!
