Incident At Mol’Rihan Center

Captain, we're sending you an emergency report we just received from Mol'Rihan. It's regarding the 'prisoner' Sela. There has been an incident that requires your attention.

Please exercise the utmost discretion regarding this incident.

    Hahaha, good for Sela.

    After the disgraceful way the Republic behaved in incarcerating her I can't say I'm sorry to see her escape.

    Fantastic job, Cryptic.

    Though....most Courts I know would not have allowed Sela to bring the PADD with her out of the cell.

    Perhaps we need Bailiff training specialization to make sure our BOFFs don't do something equally dumb?

    My ship has seen many battles and have been responsible for many deaths because of the actions of Sela. It pains my crew, but we will seek to recapture her and not much effort will be put in taking her alive.

    Although if she does indeed surrender... extreme precautions will be taken... and we will not hand her back to the Romulan Republic as clearly they cannot perform even a simple prisoner transport.

    And, seriously... set Sela's iPad on Airplane Mode, or activate the Parental Controls! No wonder there's no Apple Store on New Romulus, yet...

    If Gaius is who is the same Gaius on the Lleiset, then he may have been a Tal Shiar plant since his "liberation" by the Republic. He may have been secretly working with the Tal Shiar to do whatever it is that they want to do. In any case, if he was responsible, then he'll pay the price for it...

    Ah, well. As much as really like the story, I had hopes we would get to participate more directly regarding Sela's incarceration. Maybe someone will create a Foundry mission based upon this?

    That's two major Romulan POWs that have escaped custody in as many years. Clearly, we're not doing something right.

    Shame about Gaius. He reminded me of Malcolm Reed.

    The Romulan Republic is gonna catch a lot of flak from the Federation and Klingon Empire for letting this one slip away... lol

    I think everyone saw this coming a mile away.

    It's obvious we won't get to kill her as much as she deserves it, since that'd be a huge waste of Denise Crosby, but I hope we at least get to verbally smack the smugness out of her a bit during the mission in a couple of days. Or if nothing else at least let her know we think she's completely full of it.

    Quite possible. I like him, but I'll shoot him in the face if I have to.

    The other thought that came to me is, what if Sela didn't actually escape? Maybe there was some need for her but the Republic couldn't risk outright using her due to the outrage it would cause. This could all be a setup and Gaius is just following orders. It would be very...Romulan.

    Monstrous she may be, but you can't deny that Sela is capable of some truly elegant planning. Hell, from the little bit we get in that dev blog it's entirely possible that the Republic will end up tearing itself apart without Sela needing to do anything else.

    Of course we all know that she isn't the type to just sit back in the shadows and watch as the Republic descends into chaos...but her next moves may well ignore the Republic entirely. It'll definitely be interesting to see :)

    Ahhh damn. That's really unfortunate. Ehh, I hope they just change the voice actor and not kill off the character. Good find on that though.
