I think it would be a fitting gesture for everyone to rename their ships for the weekend in honor of Leonard Nimoy.

    RIP

I will be as soon as I get home.....

Nimoy has just been transported to his next away team mission with Doohan (Scotty) and Kelley (Bones).

I am sure Deforest will have some of that secret ingredient...

I have nothing fitting to say for man of his stature. Just goodbye, and thank you.

What a sad day. I think about all the people he not only entertained, but inspired.... inspired to think; inspired to do good; inspired to pursue art, and science, and engineering. RIP Leonard Nimoy - and thank you.

VERY sad news :(, but he did live a long and full life. My condolences to his family and close friends. I loved him in the role of Mr. Spock.

This is the end of an era. Nimoy was in Trek from the very first TV pilot to the very last JJ movie. And now it's all over. :(

Opened my laptop to browse my favorite news site and it was right there on the front page. I let out an "oh no!" and shed a tear or two.

I kinda knew it was coming though. It's a very sad day in the sci fi world.

It is not over, as long as we remember.

Goodbye Mr. Nimoy, I will try not to mourn your passing (too much) as your life was certainly not wasted!

And now, that campfire scene and especially THAT Kirk line from ST V is even more painful... To say nothing about the WoK ending.

Farewell and thank you for the fond memories, Mr Nimoy.
