disconnect...disconnect....etc.

i have 4-5 disconnects a day.

these just started recently. others i know are having same issue.

what is the deal?

are these associated with the current event? the lag?

it is frustrating.

    After the shard maintenance today, I cannot connect to the server.
    The launcher dit patch up though.
    I cannot play. Now the server is unavailable.

    Once again it's down after supposedly being Fixed... How many of these ongoing issues are due to Unfixed issues/problems since day one? Maybe if you fixed them too, this would be happening so much!!! Oh, have separate and Decent servers for this game would also help.....

    about 10 DCs/day...(3 DCs in last 3 hours)

    all this TRIBBLE started at same time as event.

    what happened??!?!

    server not responding online.



    whats more worrying is that all our problems about the server seem to be falling on deaf ears .

    has anyone seen a single post from them saying they are aware of the issue ? :mad:

    I'm having a patching issue now. It says that its patching but doesn't load up or give me a progress bar. What is going on with the game?

    Seems to me this problem's been worse than usual since the maintenance on Thursday 19th Feb - which had its own problems.

    There was a thread, I think, stating that these disconnects were being investigated, so the devs are aware of the problem. (Obviously, it doesn't show up on the list of "known issues" in the patch notes - that's reserved for important stuff like costumes clipping or the chair on the APU cruiser bridge not being click-to-sit.)

    If i don't get the snr msg atleast once a day or more i'm starting to think something is wrong. None of my other games i get on has the same problem or the fleet teamspeak. So its not on my end. Before the anniversary it was maybe once a week. I have 2 acounts 1 free to play and one life time it doesn't matter which acct it happens on.

    no worries there..

    i get the SNR message at least a dozen times during the day. surprisingly it recovers maybe 3-4 times and DCs the rest.

    I just had a 450 sek SnR followed by 8 SnRs between 250-50 seconds.

    And i played STO from three different locations wih th also 3 different ISP. Telekom, Vodafone and O².

    All three had the SnR/Rubberbandind/disconnect problem. I talked to firends from Bavaria to the UK. THey had the same peoblems . Its NOT the ISP, its something on Cryptics site but blaming the Playersand their ISP is cheaper than fixing something i guess

    It has been 3 days now that every time i try to change a map, i get the server not responding message and after 10 or less seconds the game disconnects saying "timed out connecting to game server"
    after i try to login, more times than not, it gets stuck on connecting to the login server screen for some seconds and then back to the login screen.
    I reinstalled the game and it did patch completely. still, the same problems persist. the game is practically unplayable

    Disconnects have been going on for months and months. For me, it seemed to have started around the time New Romulus content was added and just gets worse as time goes along. There are very few days that I don't get disconnected at least once, and usually multiple each day. I often ask different chat channels if anyone else just got disconnected and every time there are many "me too" responses.

    this dcing problem has been going on since the day i have joined this game and as of today PWE can kiss my *** about giving them more money until they get out of there me me me now now now type mind set and give a damn about producing a quality product which means in this case a stable one at that i will never look back at them again i am leaving them today
