I can't update the launcher

I can't log in the game for 4 hours, the launcher can't update. Unable to establish connection to Patch server. I don't have any problem with my internet or any other game.

    Same problem here. I run the launcher and it just runs up to 23 attempts and just says it cant connect to the patch server. Strangely enough i could play this morning but several hours later i cant even get to the log in screen on the launcher.

    p.s.
    Also for what ever reason I cant actually load the gateway for STO. Which also earlier in the day i could. Im from eastern Europe if that is relevant.

    Sorry for multi-posting.
    But a thanks to Cryptic. Since i can remember I've been told that computers don't do anything unless they are told to do it by someone. So since the patcher is working and its loading the launcher someone did something. Thanks to the invisible unknown wizards.
