I bought Zen on special, but wasn't aware of this offer, it disappears after 15 minutes, and I am in the S O L. system. :P

Thanks for this, I would have thought that a small number of Lobi would have been better than the XP boost mind, but this'll certainly do. I'll be sure to nab some Zen whilst the extra 15% bonus is on (My first time spending money on the game, excluding buying the box off Amazon a year ago (I keep meaning to spend money, but there's not much in the Zen store I'm actually interested in))!

Nothing disappears after 15 mins. It can take up to 15 mins for the package to appear in your Promotions section of the C-Store for you to claim. It stays there.

It is not retroactive for purchases made before 9am today. But any Captain, even if they purchased before, that charges zen for STO after 9am today will qualify for the pack and have it applied to their account.

Zen stipends from the Lifetime Subscription do not count towards this. Purchasing a subscription or Pack on Arc/Steam do not count towards this. Purchasing Zen in the Dilithium Exchange in-game does not count towards this.

Thank You for the clarifications, adamanteus!

I purchased Zen from the in game store, and it has been well beyond 15 minutes and yet I've not been able to claim any kind of promotion.

Does this have anything to do with using my Steam Wallet for the purchase? if So, it should really say on the page that you can't use steam funds to buy Zen in game and qualify

The purchase was made just before 2pm EST, which should mean it qualifies, unless again, Steam Wallet or purchasing in game doesn't count.

Well I purchased Zen at 6PM local time, that's 10AM PT. Here we are almost two hours later and I still don't have anything showing in the Promotions tab...

Edit: Purchase was made through the website.

So, I see they just changed the news page and added that Zen Purchases through Steam do not apply, that's nice of them to do -AFTER- people have purchased the Zen and spent their money.

First the TRIBBLE with the fraud system flagging people, especially steam users, and then this, it's becoming quite obvious that they are doing all they can to rip off Steam users.

Update, purchases of Zen through Steam do not qualify for this pack.

If you made a purchase of zen on steam between 9am - 12pm PST today then you can send in a support ticket and our CS team can activate the package for you if they can verify your purchase.

Well, I bought the $200 zen promotion, and have no such package in my Promotions tab. I can, however, buy a Gekli Companion for 300z. I use PayPal.

What about those of us who bought Zen through the website but have not received the pack after two hours?

Nice to see Cryptic trying to fix the Steam problems, even if it's really annoying that the Steam problems are happening.

Ok, I sent a ticket in regards to my Zen purchase, Ticket ID is #3,194,377

the ticket was filed slightly after 3pm EST, or 12pm PST, but is in regards to a purchase made at roughly 11am PST of 1000 Zen funded through Steam and purchased via the in game store. I am posting this as a statement that I have followed through with the instructions given on this forum.

So if you have already bought zen before you are not qualified? That doesn't seem to be what the article said. Is there a minimum limit of how much zen you must buy? It didn't say so.

So imagine my wonderment when I am told by friends to NOT BUY ZEN because they are not getting the First Time Buyer pack.

Please clarify as I have a spare 5.00 I can use for zen.

Just looking for some clarification on the shuttle thing. Will it unlock the shuttle of the faction who opens it, or will it unlock both shuttles regardless of who opens it? Once opened, is the shuttle available across the account just as any other purchased zen ship?

[edit] Nevermind, I read the description on the zen store in-game and it clearly states that both shuttles unlock account wide. [/edit]

I have tried to access support in-game, and it gives me a url which I can neither click nor copy. I don't see anything that's useful in the forums either. I must be missing something or something is missing.

I believe it's filing a bug report is where you send in support tickets, no the actual Account Support button, but Report a Bug.

On a side note, When I buy ZEn I usually do the 100.00 version. I won't spend more than that on a purchase of zen. I mean why? 200 is a lot of coin to dump on a game with so many bugs and warped, nerd rage inducing, flaws.

Best to spend that money on other things and wait til they sort **** out. I don't need a new shuttle or master keys.

    For those who do, enjoy.

Now if they'd have the 100.00 option back, then I might make a buy.

it is not an unlock... it is a shuttle in a box. if you discharge it... its gone forever unless you buy the shuttle again.

the shuttle is based on who claims it... if a fed toon claims it you get the fed shuttle in a box.

if kdf then you get the kdf shuttle in a box.

roms get jack unless they choose a faction already.

No, a previous purchase before 9am today does not qualify. But if you buy zen now it would qualify you and you would get the package.

bonuses value for $50 and $100 is the same... bonus at $50 is 300 vs 600 at $100. You can buy 2 $50s and get the same bonus as if you bought it at $100.
