    yes, some things in deep space have interesting noises.

    Most of the Nebulae seem to sing, or are you talking about the odd little empty spot on the Iota Pavonis map. I spent about 15 minutes, one day, moving my ship backwards/forwards trying to place it in the center of that sound hoping it was an indication of something even more curious. I believe it was in the Bolarus Sector

    Yeah, I have to admit it, Trek Space was a lot noisier before Abrams got his hands on it. ;)

    My favorite is the Azure nebula in Tau Dewa. It makes an interesting sound. Pelia has an unusual effect associated with it as well.

    Bwahahahaa!!!! I turned the giant Crystalline entity into a copy of ME! It looks like a speck since the Dauntless I'm flying is a tiny ship. But yeah, it's the special power that the Dauntless comes with that I used for this.

    Well, like you say on DA it's hard to see in that pic. I'll have to take your word for it. Also, space is darker than a Mill City street in daylight.

    btw - I was just in the Azure Neb. Didn't notice any unique sounds there, just empty space noise.

    Is there a special part of it I need to be in? Do I need to go up or down or or near a corner?

    I'll have to check out Pelia some time soon.

    Well.... it's the Crystalline Entity being shot at... it'd take up half the screenshot normally. Hmm... maybe I should do it again with the UI? It's probably help if there was a the tooltip for what I was shooting at.

    In fact there is something like 2 dozen ways to fly there.

    Champions Online

    You can't bring your phasers or your ships, but you won't need them. YOU will be all of the weapons AND even the ship.

    Please tell me I'm not the only player who noticed that this image from a very auspicious (if flipped) location from, perhaps, the most important moment in Star Trek history?

    Edit - I'm talking about the image on the GoF, not the planet. The eps location is it's own iconic location. :)

    This cap might be a bit clearer. Remember it's been flipped.

    So as not to spoil it for everyone, if is still does not jog the old "Wetware" try Googling - star trek matte paintings. It should be among the first images.

    Sadly, I think it's easier to see what I saw if the pic is from the un-re-touched trek.

    Great. More things that will confuse my sister who still believes Star Trek and Star Wars are "Basically" the same thing with very few "Real" difference. :rolleyes:
