i want a mission to kill slamek. all through Colosseum he's a pain in the neck and then in the end he betrays you. more than one player ive talked to wants to kill him. D E A D. give us the pleasure.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I'd be down with shooting him in the back. I'd get a good laugh out of Hakeev's reaction to the fact that you killed Slamek before his predictable plan could pay off. :P

at least slamek decided what he wanted to do with himself, but tovan khev is more... insidious and someone gave him the godmode command, hes first before slamek or anyone else.

For himself? Replay Coliseum and read one of the consoles just past the arena, its strongly hinted that he's been brainwashed as our Romulan characters were earlier in the plot.
Slamek seems a pathetic individual whose suffering will never end. He won't die.
I hope we get to see him again, a tortured soul serving the Iconians or better some other madman (or madwoman)... He may wish he'd be dead already, but he won't die.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
Maybe your characters were brainwashed. My characters however found those brainwashing attempts to be childish and amusing, and no more effective than trying to spit into the wind.
Really? So they did not shoot the hologram of their officer, kill Eppohs with thaleron weaponry or turn a captive into a Borg? Impressive.
No. That's just the excuse I'm going to use to justify my claim of self defense if I get caught. Once he's dead I'm gonna give his corpse to the Kobali so he can be revived and I can kill him again.
best. response. ever.
Kobali: "But we revive them to give them a second chance at life. give him a few days he wont even remember his past life"
Me: "Yeah, as much as i hate this moron he's not going to last more than a few minutes. i want him to remember why he's dying....again."
You see brainwashing is a forcible indoctrination to induce someone to give up basic political, social, or religious beliefs and attitudes and to accept contrasting regimented ideas.
You can't brainwash a willing participant that doesn't disagree with your beliefs and attitudes.
Ahhh, so you willingly assisted and furthered Hakeev and Sela's plans than... Collaboratist scum.
We can't even kill Tovan off our warbirds to open up a bridge officer slot. I've even went so far as to assign my new Kobali BOFF the same quarters Tovan is in hoping she'd get the munchies and eat his brains like any other purple blooded zombie would. No luck.

indeed? but when i saw the mission where you break out of that desert arena, it was clear that he had control of himself, he had thought and feelings, the injury, the betrayal. im not convinced it was entirely under some spell. and you will have to convince me that the brainwashing took full effect before i decide to accept what you mentioned.

I can't prove anything either way - As I say it was only hinted (strongly, but semi-subtly) that he'd been brainwashed, but consider how easy it is to get him to ignore you when you first get trapped? All the hoops you have to jump through to get him to cooperate: Is that a man playing hard to get so as you'll trust him more, or the actions of a man who is trying desperately not to play Hakeev's sick mind games?
Now I think about it, what is the point of the mission Colloseum? Slamek is a traitor. He works for the Tal Shiarr. We learn it when we are caught again by colonel Hakeev. Let's take things step bu step.
We are caught and hold captive in a camp where prisoners are tested. Another prisoner gains our trust and helps us escape, so we can get caught again. As soon as we decide to escape from the camp, Slamek helps us, directs us etc, why? To tell Hakeev we are a bad prisoner who is trying to escape?
People that play a Romulan character know Slamek from one of the early missions. On Crateris he isn't very helpful either. I suppose he is working for the Tal Shiarr from the beginning.

Fleet Admiral Stowe - Dominion War Vet.
I've played it several times. It's really nice.
Look it up and try it.
In the interest of disclosure, I don't have anything to do with the mission or it's author, except having played the mission several time :P
Otherwise I generally stay away from the foundry.
So. Much. THIS.

Exactly. Killing him is too nice. Give him the five lights treatment.
