I agree, PWE/Cryptic does owe their customers an apology. After the update the mini game is still broken. There is rubberbanning like crazy. I just crashed going to Drozona( sorry if I spelled it wrong) Station! Any respectable company would make a public apology to their customers. This is pathetic for any gaming/software company. This is management, programming, and development life cycle practices.
PWE/Cryptic is becoming nothing more then a laughingstock of the gaming community and an embarrassment to all us programmers!

Yeah we've seen some pretty bad Launches, LoR comes to mind. But NEVER has ESD been such an utterly pathetic and unplayable mess. Before PWE came along, I never experienced any lag in STO, ever. How things have changed over the last couple of years.
To explain my self I am not in the rage mode , just have a experience with other much older games then STO especially one called EvE Online I play this game from beginning. CCP was ones like Cryptic now, 4 or 5 yrs ago after one massive players strike, everything is changed in a positive way to be better and better. But CCP is Island gaming company , is it possible to change the way of thinking to American gaming company ?
Every online game depends on players community if Gaming company do not involved and listen that community the game will goes down.
Good luck with PWE...there is no two way communication as it used to be. Watch out if you whine too much they might mute, ban or delete you from forums. I guess if they silence dissent they think it will be gone in lieu of happier more easily naive playerbase....That's what one gets for speaking out
At this point, Cryptic may as well just make the mission give 1000 Q-mmendations. It's already fairly long and time-consuming, and it'd be no different than running the old Temporal mission for the Ambassador.
That would leave players to decide whether or not to take the time and effort for the Kobali ship set or copies of the ship on other alts.
Don't hold your breath waiting for that apology; Cryptic obviously doesn't even know what just happened to their steaming pile of code! BTW, they'll likely be watching the Super Bowl this weekend, so we might as well not log in 'til next week...

I only had lag at ESD, I also saw more people playing yesterday at one time than I had seen in years, which would explain the lag. At the starfleet academy I just changed instances to one that wasn't loaded up. In the end the only 1 mini game failed on me and that was because it was a ground mini game not a space one like I thought, the first day wasn't to bad for me. I saw worse updates on EVE.
The BOF changes were annoying at first, but after taking a few minutes I found they were easy enough to adjust to what I wanted.
Even enjoyed the Dust to Dust mission. could use some more in depth missions like that. Hard to believe the patch was that drastic for so many.

well my account was reprogramed and my boff powers removed so I made a online crime report to the online crime report center here in the states then mad a bug report that thare are no inactive boff powers at all and the ones that my crew have now are not what thay had and an account help request that stuff I have invested time and money in game and want a fix or refund with a warning that the police will be nocking to investagate and if things are not made right thay will come to question both side that's all I need to say about pressure

Shall I put things in this way .
You buy some LCD TV 50" who's working like Cryptics STO some of functions aren't working some work and some are in the middle and with major breakdowns.
What will you do with this TV ?
Something reasonable or unreasonable ?
If you go to support who's not working and see the message with explanation that you can't repair, change or get your money back for this TV until your life ends.
So WHO have to be reasonable ?
STO is a service, not a physical product for one... It would be like your ISP having an outage and you immediately demanding an explanation and formal apology on their website...

CNN is reporting that the rubberbanding and lag issue has been traced to a missing airplane. Wolf Blitzer will keep us updated at the top of the hour. There are already discussions over how this will affect the 2016 Presidential elections.

im upset too, but this is no way to act to get a point across. Personally, I am not putting any of my real world money into this game until some changes are made, and Im asking others to do the same. Though it probably wont work, passive-aggressiveness can go a long way
