Can't get into game

I've posted this before, but apparently no one cares. That includes computer geeks.

When I log into the game via ARC, it asks me to manually log in. Okay.

So I do.

The game starts to load but then dies with a window saying there's some fatal error or some other damned thing preventing login.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting .hogg files, and logging in directly from the launcher and bypassing ARC.

The closest I've gotten is that the launcher loads, it patches successfully, and -- *poof*.

Is there any way to fix this? Clearly the game is installed or it wouldn't be able to patch. The files have been verified (more than once) upon second login, to no avail.

An actual answer this time would be nice. So far no one has offered one.

Ill be honest, I don't care either. But I will help if I can. What *exactly* does this mystery message really say? It could be important. It could be gibberish. But put the text here and let me have a look see.

Without any network diagnostic information to look at, its anyone's guess as to what the problem is, and is not worth the trouble responding...
