Yep, something is up, I can't even get the launcher now. Patch server issues apparently. Its a minor thing, I'm sure they'll have it sorted pretty soon.
I would just like to point out that before I posted, I hadn't tried to get on STO. Having posted and trying to get on to STO, I get a time out from just trying to update the launcher.
I had the log in screen for a bit...then it crashed...then the crash report screen disappeared. Then it wouldn't connect. Tried it with Neverwinter. Same problem. I miss STO Season 3: We're Mostly Working and Fun Hasn't Been Nerfed Yet.
Well.. I can't play any mission because every time it tries to patch when changing maps it just wouldn't progress. *sigh* I'm gonna play some EUIV till they fix it.
Patch stuck on 'connecting...'. I was d/c just starting a Bug Hunt now can't get back in. :rolleyes:

What the hell is this "unable to connect to Patch Server" nonsense? I can't even get to the login screen, it just dies after attempting to connect a few times. Dumb thing is asking me to check my internet connection. I'm posting here which means my connection can't be that bad.

Since Neverwinter is down too and today was the big Neverwinter patch for Module 5: Rise of Tiamat I guarantee that is the culprit. You can watch the trailer since you have nothing better to do.

if you want to build a game with cash flow, number one rule is: dont TRIBBLE someone's wallet by not creating back up servers when it crashes or a simpe notify when you have maintenance.

Only been playing about 2 months on STO, but this is the first connectivity issue i have seen.
Connection Problem: Unable to establish connection to patch server.
Results from pinging patchserver.crypticstudios.com is less than 30ms. Why won't the server connect?
