THE NX01 Challenge

CHALLENGE ON HOLD DUE TO THE GREAT XP NERF OF 20TH NOVEMBER




Just for the hell of it, taking an NX01 through from 50 to 60 using Delta Rising content only. So far got it to almost 53, now running Argala patrols which take about 3 times longer than my T6 Phantom but are just as much fun.

    Well, it's not like one can "fail" a story mission but with an NX it will take a whole lotta time to get rid of some of those damage sponges.

    Interesting, as I was thinking of doing the same thing - I took my NX from 1 to 50 a couple of years ago. I look forward to seeing the videos when you post them!
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    I think it's fun to equip your Level 60 stuff on something like your first ship and see how survivable you can make it :D

    Ive done the samething with a mirror universe Saber, just for the challenge. Also, i love the Saber and wish that things were more realistic in terms of scaling than it is. Another ship that i did this with was the Nova and the Akura as i like both ships.

    I levelled my sic from 0-50 in a miranda... was hilariously difficult going up against Romulan battlecruisers!

    Did a 1-50 run with an oberth myself. Short on space for the oberth or i would try the 50-60 DR content with it.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    I did 1 - 50 in the free t'varo but using doff missions only does that count? :p

    What skill level?

    I did 1-50 on Advanced (Pre-D.Q.) with my Connie.

    Took me about eight days (playing 2-4 hours each day).

    I personally like to switch back to the Oberth once in a while to keep my skills sharp. I notice myself actually using tactics more in a fragile ship with low DPS rather than FAW TOrpSpread pet spam enemies to death, like in other ships.

    and that was only because he had to keep running of to retrieve ensign kirk from the lady's!

    I wanted to try something similar in my Olympic Research Science Vessel.

    I love the look of that ship. You may have motivated me to try such a thing !

    A while ago i did 1-42 on a Gorn in a Tuffli (a "Q-Ship") had a lot of fun blowing up Cardassian Cruisers in "Skirmish" for example... with a freighter.
    Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...
    unfortunately:

    NOT LOYAL ENOUGH!!!

    Very cool project.

    For a while I was leveling romulans to farm SRO boffs, my last one I did the whole way in d'vex's t'liss. Was fun.

    I like the Andorian Light Escort for leveling my Smurfs.
    STO would have been better as a Stargate MMO than it is as Star Trek. Go figure.

    Thanks for posting that. I will be able to use that video every time I see someone tell me how hard it is for them to do that Patrol in their T6 ship. :)

    I need lameness from "elite" player NXs so that we (I) can use said lameness to argue up a Fleet T5 then T5FU NX...

    Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

    Time to dust off my Connie and see what she can do....i did 1-50 on my connie and it didn't dawn on my to go 50-60 with her
