    I lost 12 of them...... There went somewhere around 80 hours of xp grinding in the Delta Quadrant..... Plus has to deal with the 3rd skill respec since Delta released.

    If you answer yes to this question, you should have seen it coming.

    I spent my whole time in the Delta Quadrant redoing story missions and patrols. This REALLY sucks.

    Starship Mastery levels are NOT specialization points. Specialization points are another word for skill points.

    I had both secondary specializations completed, now I just have the 10 points you get from 50 to 60. This is nuts. All of that time spent grinding in the delta quadrant has been for nothing.

    I have the same issue.

    All specializations reset and got only 10 points back.

    I´ve had the space part (so not the full tree) of the intelligence officer specialization pretty much finished AND that i did by simply doing Delta Quadrant Patrols.

    I was only ONE time in Tau Dewa to get some romulan marks and thats it.

    For the love of all that is good i hope for you cryptic that this is just an error and that it will be fixed.
    Otherwise ill be sure to not invest anything into this grindfest anymore.

    Im not here to grind my rear end off to progress just so it gets reset to naught at the next best chance.

    If they think there were allot of I Quit threads when they closed Japori just wait till people start looking at there spec points and see this load of bull****.

    My Specialisations got resett too. I lost 6 Points. And I cant spend the remaining Points because the Purchase button is greyed out. The Skills Tab says Skills are invalid.

    TRIBBLE you craptic!!!

    BTW: A friend didnt use japori and his character got corrupted too.

    There is no way Cryptic did this on purpose, the patterns are far too erratic. Some people miss all their points, some only a few. Some of those were in TD, some weren't. Additionally, people who have lost all their points except the 10 from being Level 60 cannot spend these points at all. This MUST be an extremely serious bug which HAS to be fixed later today in emergency maintenance. Every other outcome would result in absolutely astronomical loss of players and income for the game.

    Same issue, my main has lost all spec points beyond the first 10. Another char (just 60 without any further points ) still has all 10 as previously allocated. And no tau dewa patrol done since... months?

    Some of my friends have been affected by this and others haven't.

    Mine is greyed out and I think I lost about 8 points.

    The people who still have 10 points have to reset their skill traits and redo them all over again before they can use their specialization points.

    Are you 100% certain on that because last time doing the respec messed up some of my friend's skills.

    Just asking because I don't want to make mine worse.

    It has been that way with 3 of my fleet mates. All of us had to reset our skills, and then after that we could use the 10 Specialization points. Didn't give back what we lost, but let us use the 10.

    From the way it seems rather randomized, it may likely be a major bug and not an intended roll-back of "exploiters" (lol at the boot-lickers actually parroting such nonsense).

    However, the timing plays right into the most prevalent narratives among the playerbase and will feed suspicion and distrust even more, now.

    I hope this is a bug, because I wasn't involved in the Japori fiasco and I've lost 12 points that I earned grinding out their content in the Delta Quadrant, and quite a few of my friends have as well.

    12 freaking points, that I spent grinding out in their new content just like they wanted me to. I play a Romulan character and do a lot of my business on New Romulus, just so I don't have to run back and forth like a hamster anywhere else.

    I'm sorry I had to fly through Tau Dewa to get back to the DQ because my transwarp was on CD.

    Is there any official word on if this was intended or not, because at this point, I am not happy at all.

    And last night when I finally got enough points into the intel tree to use their uncommon mods, I spent a nice size of dil to check out this intel ground mods, which I can't use anymore because I don't have enough points! WTH!

    If this was a mistake, they need to fix this yesterday.

    If this was a game wide thing than every person in game would have this same issue. I didn't lose a thing from what I had last night pre-patch. And I had several points above the 60 base 10 ones.

    What the heck is going on at Cryptic, if these reports are accurate then this is the second major bug they've introduced in weeks. And if this was an intentional act on cryptics part then... well the 'I quit' posts are going to flood the forums :rolleyes:

    This must be intentional! They probably expect us to buy their xp boosts (the one from the patch notes). +1000 xp for 200 zen!

    Makes perfect sense! Make xp boosts more expensive while simultaneously removing xp from everyone.

    I am NOT their biggest fan when it comes to customer support, but I very seriously doubt that this was deliberate.
