How is Delta Rising? Because us Mac players don't know.

    there are those using PCs with random graphic cards and we can't get past the loading screens :(

    We don't even know what it looks like *sobs*

    Well the launcher just updated... but then said it couldn't patch. Tried again and it wouldn't load at all.

    So I deleted it and re-downloaded it.

    It updated again... then patched... and now it's re-patching STO.


    I'm trying not to get too excited!

    I just saw that! Let us know how it works out! I have the .dmg file ready to re-install if it works!

    That 10GB patch is a doozy!!!

    Well it's launched... I still got the pixel shader error on the Delta Rising Loading screen (although it's now centralised).

    Will let you know if I crash or not

    Just curious, but what version of the launcher is everyone running?

    It's below the loading bar for patches, in the small print. Mine looks like it's CL_2014_09_02_18_22 :confused:

    I've managed 2 patrol missions so far and was about to say I haven't crashed.... but then I just did!!! :(

    Can you tell what client version you got? It's right under the blue patch-loading bar in the launcher window...

    Just got an alert from Nvidia that there's a new driver. Figured it was just gonna be optimised for Yosemite, but I've installed it and launched STO.

    I didn't see any shader errors on the launch screen... so this could be promising!

    In other news... driver update didn't fix it... still crashing and the error message on the loading screen is back.


    I did have just enough time to do this though...
    [Combat (Self)] Your Heavy Phaser Lance deals 107526 (80754) Phaser Damage(Critical) to Vaadwaur Assault Cruiser.


    Makes me wanna play even more now!

    Yeah, Daria and I are stuck on the crash to desktop. We are sad. We want this to go!
