Launcher hangs at patching stage after CTD.

I recently got a CTD after having picked up Borg Disconnected, and was just about to enter the STF when the game gave me one it bloody CTD's.

After attempting to get back into the game, the launcher hangs at the patching stage. I have been watching it for close 10 minutes, and nothing happens, and I have attempted a few times now.

Does any one have any suggestions as to what I might do to solve the problem??

Any help appreciated.
