    Honestly, I'm not sure, but it SERIOUSLY doesn't need it. It can pull something from max range in under a second with ZERO chance of it escaping. It's extremely deadly when you use it to pull in exploding ships for explosion-combos.

    Now, however, even a tiny bug ship or assault/battle cruiser will be able to launch an inescapable gravity well for several seconds..

    So, now that the Varanus' repair platform will be available to all players, does that mean that the Varanus could qualify for those little buffs the D'Kyr is getting since it was a clone of it and now a D'Kyr can have the repair platform on top of the shield healing shuttle? I don't see the shield healing shuttle going out to the other factions since it is integrated into the the D'Kyr...

    AS usual I'm in agreement here. Read it the same way. So basically it looks like it'll be good for the alpha strike. Hit one of my shield heals just out of 10km range, get in range pop Grav Well with an extra 10% damage, and basically every so often pop another shield heal for another 10% when I can.

    Bet it's on a cool down too so you can't chain it.

    Well they said nine species right? So there may be a Sphynx or a Hairless in there. I'm excited to see what species they offer.

    Now that the Varanus repair platform is available to all players, it means the Varanus needs to be taken outside and allowed to die with honor.

    Pretend it instead says "when you use a heal your next exoticdamage attack is buffed" and the opposite.

    This is aimed at people who wanted a support role. Toss gravity well, then hazard emitters, then eject warp plasma, then transfer shields, then tractor repuksors, then aux to structural, etc.

    By alternating you keep the bonus going.

    I'm just chuckling at how the lockbox and lobi ships are now best of all worlds. 13 boffs AND 11 consoles. I'm not even slightly surprised, and if anything amused by the blatantness of it all, but WOW they aren't even pretending are they? *chuckles*

    They were clear about this weeks ago when borticus explained why fleet 5u have an extra console and then said that they were releasing g fleet t6 in the future. They have always said that lockbox/lobi ships have the fleet bonus baked in.

    Edit: people didn't want to believe it, but the facts were there. If I could search at all well I could pull up a thread where multiple people predicted it.

    Good Lord!!!! With this Lockbox it seems like its 3 Lockboxes in one. Too much at one time. I'll be broke come friday. GGGRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

    In spite of what the haters will no doubtedly say, I'm actually getting that Kazon ship! :D Oh yeah, always wanted a Kazon ship. :P And I'mma' own all of you with it. You've just been pwned by the Kazon Nistrim! lol :D Let the rage ensue....
    I have a free character slot and I think I'll make a new Lethean Captain for the Kazon Raider.

    Other than that - cats!! Finally cats!! The pet I've asked for since....forever! Best lockbox pet, ever! :)

    I like how the Hazari destroyer looks, I don't have a char for such ship, but I look forward to seeing them in space. Good ship model. The bridges are top-quality, I really like what they've done with those. The whole 3 look amazing, I especially like the Benthan one.
    Now just to figure out how to get Cryptic to make a few new bridges for our characters that use faction-specific ships.

    I don't know. Yeah I like the Benthean trait, but as a Sci Ship Driver the ships are just about worthless to me as a whole. Not sure if playing the gambling ring for a ship just for the trait is really worth it.

    I'll probably play for the cross-faction consol and the traits and the BOff and once I get those stop with the lockbox. If I happen to get a Benthean ship so much the better, but if not, not going to keep paying them zen.

    I question their game decisions oftenly. But I do not question their ability to make money. Still... what you pointed out there is hilarious.

    Yeah I agree a nerf may be in the air :(
    But in the meantime Im getting one for ships and tribbles :) (I forgot who came out with that on here but its in my vocab now lol).

    Why would Projected Singularity need a nerf? It's an average CC ability on a very long console ability cooldown.

    Pay to win in it's extreme.

    Hazari/BenthanBest ships by far.

    13 boff skills

    11 consoles

    Better hull sheilds than any ship that exists.

    And only available from lockbox/lobi.

    All older ships obsolete.

    4 years of play wasted.

    Nothing beats spamming the entire map outside dock with 1 little repair platform.

    I don't care how useless it is, anything with a 30 second cooldown and animations can drink from my canteen anyday.

    Standard t5 ship is 9 console

    T5u or fleet t5 or t6 are all 10 console

    T6fleet and t5u fleet are both 11 console

    The devs have always said that lockbox/lobi ships are fleet quality. Thus the Bentham and hazari ships are t6 fleet quality and thus get the 11th console.

    The kazon is t5 so it has 9, but if you upgrade it then as with all other t5u ships it gets a 10th console.

    I'm really hoping the winter event brings us a science ship. We're up to 12 expansion ships revealed and only two sci both for fed only.

    This is not a good trend.

    Meh, I wouldn't use it even if I had access to it. I keep my ships very thematic and since the Kazon didn't have cloaks, I wouldn't use one. I just always wanted a Kazon ship because they were a very lol species to me, but I don't hate them as some around here apparently do. LOL species in a positive way for me, ones that always make me chuckle. :D

    Science ships are the Klingon's of ships, few play them. Heck when I see a dyson being used, the majority of the time it's being used in destroyer form as a really bad escort.

    Most people either want to fly point and shoot dhc escorts or faw a2b cruisers. Those few of us whopilot sci ships have to think about our dps, even if we can top dps charts.

    But since very few fly them, they don't make as many because they cater to what makes them money.

    Science particle gen builds on tribble were obliterating vaadwar and other enemies even 49k beamboats had trouble with. Check page three and later in the thread about beating one of the new advanced queues with all optionals for details.
