Since a couple of weeks (I'd say it started end September) I've been getting an insane amount of lag every now and then in STO. Often during zoning I also DC because I get the message "Server not responding". A lot of stuttering and rubber banding and I've heard other people complain about the same issues since that time as well. Is there anything wrong with the EU connection again? Because in all honesty, I tried a few other MMOs just to see if my connection was the problem but... all fine, WoW, Archeage, Tera and SWTOR. If it really was a problem with my connection those previously named MMOs would stutter as well wouldn't they?
Please fix the problem because it's becoming unplayable and in sight of DR's launch... it really doesn't fill me with any confidence...
Yup, same here, im from Spain. Since a few weeks ago, i experience the same. And sometimes it makes me to just log out and stop playing because it is really game breaking. Even in episode missions there is always rubberbanding for really unknown reasons.
About the crashes, i also get one of two in a week, when before a few weeks ago i never had any problems at all. I hope they fix this soon, because with the DR coming.. this is going to be really a disaster.
Pd: I also play other mmorpgs and i didnt notice anything bad in em, just STO (why im not surprised.. sigh).

Depends on "where the other MMO-Servers are". For EU-Players of STO there are 2 proxies that usually would reduce rubberbanding for us... Well, usually: EU1 never worked and EU2 is down since about middle of september, so all EU-players are using the US-proxies or the main server.
There have been a lot of complaints about rubberbanding, dcs and so on. Since both EU proxies aren't working, the problem gets even worse. Well, not even 2 days until lagfest DR.
If you want to try a proxy (if they are ever fixed), take a look at post #11 in this thread.

If Star Trek Online was an Open-Source (GPL) Game, we would have a low-grind fork.
