Slow patching at launcher screen

About 11 pm EDT last computer went to sleep with launcher active. When I woke it up about 11:45pm EDTt, launcher said it was patching X Mb of 3267Mb. Okay, so I'll wait, by 1am it had only got to 6Mb. This morning 8am EDT it was at 12Mb, ran the programs as suggested in the sticky and got the following results:
Note the packet loss at Hop 8 before Ipconfig release/renew.

Ran Ipconfig release/renew and
then ran the pathping again and got 0% loss on all hops!
Patching is running much better now!
