I love how she turned out but I wish they would have given her a Starfleet commission for the story.

Shouldn't Seven of Nine's look be a little different since the last we saw her on TV? She should be wearing something different to the outdated uniform and maybe change her hairstyle. Also, lose the old combadge.

Use these and go back to the drawing board. The main thing you guys are TRIBBLE up is the curves of her face.

You do realize she is 32 years older in this timeline, right?
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Did Seven ever marry Chakotay? Did she ever have kids? Does she still maintain a relationship with Janeway? I hope we get some answers to these questions in Delta Rising.

Sure it would. Her face would get rounder due to age. She would be a woman in her 50s, to even early 60s. And even though people live longer and are healthier in the future - Picard was 74 during Nemesis - there is still noticeable signs of aging. Only in Hollywood do women emaciate their faces as they get older - under the belief that thinner faces hide the wrinkles better.

Will we be getting the blue/gray costume variant in-game?

I know the silver catsuit is available, but it has no secondary top option.

    Yay, bewbies!

    Uh, I mean...

I seriously hope you give Jeri Ryan more to work with than Voyager did. She's not a fantastic actress but she's better than Kate Mulgrew, and it's really telling of the lack of quality of Voyager's writing that Janeway is often more interesting than Seven--because at least Captain Psycho has emotions.

While I like the, shall we say, more realistic proportions of the character model, I must note that she's a couple of cup sizes smaller than TV Seven.

Also, the face just doesn't look right and the uniform is frankly ugly.

So, rework the art and please oh please pretty please give her something more than Robot Mode to work with, and she probably won't be too bad.

And if there is one more "The Borg Queen wants Seven back and will do literally anything no matter how stupid to get her back" plotline, I'm ragequitting the entire Star Trek franchise forever.

In a nutshell, I am unimpressed but see clear room for improvement, unlike in the case of Neelix where I am outright angry and see very little room for improvement short of blatantly disregarding canon.

I eagerly await the Tuvok and holodoc blogs. Those two were actually cool and interesting.

Overall it's a serviceable representation of Voyager's personal Terminatrix from the Unimatrix.

Her forehead needs rounding, and more prominent eyebrows. And she actually has a slightly wider jaw.

Looking at it it's clear the devs have the same issues with hairline placement as we do.

The lips also seem to be a technological limitation.

    Yeah.

Her cheeks are more difficult. They've got the cheeks right, but they only appear fat and cute when she's actually making a facial expression like a smile. When she's in a neutral expression they've got it right.

But her forehead is way too flat.

That is undertermined. After all Picard doesn't age.

Furthermore I always thought that the abundance of Borg technology in her would drastrically reduce her aging.

But Picard is played by Sir Patrick Stewart, and therefore is an ageless god in human form.

Or more precisely he's bald and bald men always look a healthy 45.

As for Borg tech retarding aging...unlikely. There wouldn't be much of a point for the Collective.

So, Seven and Chakotay didn't work out... Bummer.

It would be interesting if they split, due to Chakotay's role (in STO) as head of Starfleet Security... and contributing to the disbanding of the anti-Borg task force, as a possible plot point.

    You mean YES!!!

Those two were the most unconvincing couple I've ever seen. The hacks--I mean, writers--even as good as admitted that they did that JUST to TRIBBLE with Robert Beltran, who had criticized the "writing" and had pretty well-known personal issues with Jeri Ryan.

Plus it made no freaking sense at all in context.

I agree. Even a relationship between Tuvok and Seven (or between Seven and Janeway) would have been more convincing. Seven and Chakotay had no chemistry whatsoever.

Pfft, J7 is like THE Voyager femslash ship. Mostly because it's the only way some people who don't want to admit that Janeway's a poorly-written psycho Mary Sue can rationalize some of Janeway's more epicly insane stunts.

But yeah, Seven and Chakotay had, if possible, negative chemistry.

Funny in reading this, worffan101. I realized I should have been "(sarcasm)" after my sentence.

When VOY was on the air... and I watched the final episodes, I was befuddled why the HECK the producers/writers would suddenly pair these two characters together. The Doctor and Seven had chemistry; as noted by others, even Tuvok and Seven would have been better together. (Although Tuvok is married.)

And I'll add: I had similar feelings about the Worf/Jadzia Dax pairing during DS9... although Jadzia's adventurous spirit made it more believable.

Who knows... maybe Seven and Chakotay had a mutual connection after he shared his experiences about the "Unity" episode, or some other event(s) which brought them closer together. I like Robert Beltran, but he had no chemistry whatsoever with Jeri Ryan.

I actually liked Worf and Jadzia a lot, but that WAS a very TEHO ship.

And otherwise I agree with you completely.

Thank you very much for making her look older! :) There seems to be a great desire amongst game desire to grant a kind of false immortality to women. Maybe one day we can look forward to a Lara Croft game where she's in her 40s.

I hope... or rather, KNOW Geri Ryan found something to good to add to the character.

Thanks Devs... and recording engineers (no one ever thanks them!)

While the rest of these trekkie nerds debate the finer points of Seven of Nine's character model, I have to add something to this discussion in case Jeri Ryan herself is reading:

Miss Ryan, I'm single. So are you. This means we should get married.

With your beauty, and my uhh, the other thing that's the opposite of beauty, just imagine what wonderfully average, unremarkable children we could have! Think about it, just sayin'.

Seven of Nine is the character I'm the least enthused to see return in the Delta Rising expansion... simply because Cryptic's depiction of her makes no sense to me.

    She hasn't changed!

Seven of Nine is human. He should see what 30 years of time did to her looks. She likely would wear her hair differently in the last three decades, and surely her wardrobe would include more than just catsuits.

In effect, I think today's Seven should look more like Jeri Ryan presents herself today, than exactly copying what she looked like in Voyager. I mean, I get it for the mindmeld flashback, but when she actually shows up, we shouldsee her changed. We should see how she's matured.

All in all, I'm kind of disappointed.
