Sorry for the issues today regarding our connection and the untimed disconnect we experienced across the board.
When we got back our internet connection, we had gone past our window for livestreaming and couldn't continue the show.
Today's R&D Pack code is broken and will not redeem, so we have to send it back to the drawing board and find out what happened with it. I am hoping to get this fixed asap, and to try and see if we can get a makeup created for everyone who missed out today.
I will update this thread with news as I receive it from my teammates.

Well, it was very fun to see you work some dev magic and then go beast mode and beat the Kazon sans boff powers.
New ships are cool-looking but thankfully not terribly OP; I figure an upgraded scimitard will still kick the most butt.

Thanks for the update, Captain. The stream was going great until the Kazon sabotaged the ship systems. You might want to erect a level 10 force field around those Gel Packs to prevent further sabotage going forward.
Oh and by the way, the Kazon might not be your only problem... I really, Really want your bathrobe so you better watch your back! But, don't worry too much. My Phaser is set to stun! :P
Seriously though, great job on all your streams so far. What happened today was unfortunate and not your or Trendy's fault! I really look forward to your next broadcast!
I actually thought the best bit was when the dev powers failed and the Kazon abducted/stole all his boff stations. It's far more interesting when scripts get unexpected deviations. :eek::D

I thought it was straight up painful to sit through hours of exactly the same gameplay, having to listen to smirk too, only to not have the code you were waiting for work.
Classic cryptic if I ever saw it.
I'd compliment the idea of doing a stream but the straight up pure sales pitch for the new ships makes me physcially ill, desperate x 56^32 seems like.
Everything stands and falls with those I guess or the acceptance of fake ships in general moving forward
I guess he doesn't have to get up so early to go in and work. Sure the whole event could have been handled better. All I had asked for them to show off the Tier 6 in a video, I didn't think they would have done a live stream. But we did get to see the captain play the game for 1 hr or so. I had missed the part about the codes and did get the first and second part of the code. Not much on twitter either. Weapons and consoles default wasn't explain or I had missed that part. Second part did show them but again he use AP on both ships. Escort had the same weapons layout as most escort and the cruiser was the same 4/4 and the sci one 3/3. Frankly I looking for 5/5 weapons slots max out for the SCI/TAC/ENG consoles along with option to add more shield array would be nice since they max out at 5 slots also.
It's all good, Smirk. While a little disappointed about the code, it's not that big a deal. Just glad that you guys were able to get back up and post the Info on the Dauntless! Thanks for the preview of the iShips. Nice to see them in action, even though I already ordered them

Sounds like there was a problem with the giveaway code, but how was the video? Will there be a replay available on twitch or youtube?
Video was unfinished unfortunately due to a few technical errors.
1. We saw plenty of action from the phantom killing kazon. so time to switch to the eclipse;
2. Unable to leave system as no options to do so anywhere, so dev powers are used to switch to another system to allow ship swaps;
3. Boff slots on the swapped to ship have all vanished leading to a demonstration of the ship with no boff powers. Performed well compared to the phantom.
4. Dev interjection again leads to a swap to the Scryer. We saw it get in the system, followed by:
5. Distraught dev due to engineering server crashing horridly.
6. Dev has bright idea to please audience by deciding to hop onto Tribble to show stuff there.
7. While booting into tribble live stream goes kapput..
You may be able to see what was done by going to the twitch page to get a rerun directly from there.

eHJ9b77q has expired according to ARC today, whereas it simply said it could not be delivered yesterday.
Looks like we'll be needing a new code, or Smirk will be experiencing the gooey afterburn of nerd-rage (which is mostly impotent, but it means we won't help him set up his printer if he asks us to )

I'm not sure it's worth all this fuss just to get an R&D pack...
i agree, there was me thinking i was watching the feed to see the new ships. freebies are a pretty cool gesture, but i really can't understand the mentality behind the folks who spend 2hrs watching something they arnt really all that interested in just for a free something.
I stayed for a good while, hoping to see the science ship in action. But I decided to just go, and level up my science character.
Hopefully we will get to see the new ships that will be in the pack next week.
