Free KDF items

I saw fed get the Next Generation season 1 uniform and was wondering what Romulans and KDF get. I know cryptic will not leave out some of their players and give items to everyone in game

    The Varanus on Monday and a bridge pack tomorrow.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Theres only one Klingon and (I think) 2 Rom uniforms at all. There isn't much TO give away.

    But then you look at ships, the Feds get something a lot of people already had from the anniversary, while the KDF one that not only is pretty rare, but also has fleet-discount and 5U options available.

    Given that ships are way more useful than uniforms (and ugly uniforms at that), Klinks come out ahead this time around. There's no good reason to complain other than habit.

    The solution is obvious, we need more KDF uniforms and, um, other stuff. Dev's? Get busy!

    They are to get the Raptor bridge set and a Gorn Science ship. The bridge set will be nice, since I don't have many to choose from. The Science ship not sure about. I might make use of it, if not I will the consul.

    Do my klingons need to be at level 40 to get the Varanus?

    you need one at 40 to unlock after that doesn't matter... you still have to be 40 to fly it but you don't have to worry about missing it. I used one of the free ships from last year to level my kdf rom.

    if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

    i do believe since its considered a t5 ship the console is only usable on that ship only. i might be wrong but i don't believe i am.

    can anyone else not claim the bridge pack for Klingons, it only shows a 2 pack not a 3 pack to claim?

    I just claimed it without hassle, but do note that the Raptor bridge pack has 2 bridges.

    I am grabbing that ship on Monday for my KDF LTG. Very interesting large ships with repair feature. Tier 5 ship but does it have 4/4 weapons or is just 3/3 type?

    Okay looks like 3/3 type for the Varanus - Looks another SCI-Vessel

    It's a very soild and rather good looking ship. Very nice for people playing Gorn and wanting to keep it thematic. Not the best of the best science has to offer, but solid and able to stand her ground quite well. It also has a fleet version so this enables the discount on that as well. My Joined Trill sci. has been flying in the Gorn ships since "Commander" level and the T3 Phalanx and she still is in the Varanus regardless of the existence of the DSD. I find the Varanus better fitting.

    I'm actually happy to be getting the KDF ship. Now it will actually fit with my Sci Orion Captain.

    No, no, no, you got it all wrong! It will fit your Gorn Sci. Captain, the Fleet Corsair is for Orion Sci!. (jk)
    I have personal bias anyway, I keep things thematic so my Sci. Orion Captain dabbles between a Marauder Patrol Crusier & Fleet Corsair(far better ship, BTW) and she never used my Varanus, but the Varanus somehow fits like a glove on my Joined Trill Sci. Captain since day 1.

    Hmmmm.....

    I'm wondering if I should create a KDF sci toon just to get the ship...

    I don't think my KDF engineer or tactical toons can do much with it.

    depends on what you like. my kdf tact almost never uses tact ships, they always feel too limited to me. even my bop is more of sci focus.

    Well don't have the orion raider and she's been kinda bouncing between her B'rel Refit torpedo boat and the DSD. I think the Veranus will fit better than those two have and way better than the Mogh.
