FALSE. i dont use A2B on my mogh. I use a doffed A2D build with DHC.
and using those doff slots and 2 copies of A2D is just gimping yourself. take the tork same amount of weapons 4/4 instead of 5/3. no need for the 2 A2D skills and frees up 2- 3 doff spots for other perks.
you can run 5 cannons fore with the mogh but unless they fixed the glitch in the fireing cycle it actually does less that any other 4 fore cannon ship. so you say you adda torp in there. might as well jsut be a harp or other torp that dont use a skill cause you dont have the doffs space to speed up reload. or the tac space for a torp skill.
to many ways a mogh gimps you. sure you can point out how this or that works for you but it can be done by other ships with less of a draw back. except the A2B beam boat that is all its good for.
Trophies for killing FEDS ahh those were the days.
My tac toon only flies BoPs. I really enjoyed flying the T4 Ki'tang. So much so that I continued to fly it for around 2 or 3 weeks after reaching max level. I didn't even bother selecting the free T5 Hegh'ta heavy BoP until I finally decided to retire my K'tang. Been flying my Hegh'ta since late April.
I love my DHC Tac Bort and my Tor'kaht. I never got a Mogh though and now I never will. It's a shame, I liked the Mogh, but with the T6 stuff coming out, I can't justify dropping FSMs on it.
It's been said before: Stick with cheap mirror ships right now or just wait for the T6 ships to come out. There's no sense wasting Zen on stuff that will be obsolete soon.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Flew the Kamarag Retrofit for a while, alongside a Mirror Qin. Added Mirror Vo'Quv, Mirror Ki'tang, and Mogh to the roster.
Why'de ya stop flying the Kami ? Since I don't PvP anymore I found I prefer something a bit more balanced than a raptor but not as gimped as a cruiser. The Kami refit gives me some fun SCI options while I punish bad guys with my captains TAC abilities. My mirror Qin is still in it's crate.
I'de love to be able to afford A Korath tho'. Ya, I'm a bit weird.
I'm not sure how folks can decry the Mogh and gush about the Tork. The Mogh is the better ship. 1 turn makes no difference, but the Mogh has a bit higher inertia so it's more responsive when turning. The Tork can only run 3/2 tac slots, but the Mogh's 3/1 is still just as capable. You can also run the LT uni as tac if need be.
With the Tork, you're stuck using the uni LT as sci or else you put yourself at the mercy of so many things that need PH, HE, ST to clear. If you run it as Tac you're a complete glass cannon with no longevity. With the Mogh you have built in sci slots no matter how you configure the rest.
The Tork has more hull than the C-store Mogh, but it's a fleet level ship. When you look at the Fleet Mogh, it has even more hull than the tork.
The 5/3 weapons loadout does make a difference. It allows a torp, or *gasp* even DBB for BO spike without losing forward firepower.
To be fair, I like the Tork in general. It's a great ship. It'd be an awesome ship if they kept it as-is but made it a 5/3 loadout. That said, the Fleet Mogh edges out the stats for the Fleet Tork. And even if you don't agree with my opinion on that, you MUST objectively admit the stats are so close that you cannot decry one as awful and the other as awesome without seeming illogical, fanatical, and/or hypocritical.
Of my two KDF Tacs, the first one has flown a wide variety of ships, the Hegh'ta, Vet ship, Fleet Qin (I didn't have the problems with it that some seem to have), Fleet Vor'cha and finally the Fleet Mogh, in which I am very happily ensconced.
The second tac has been flying a bunch of other ships. Fleet Somraw, Marauder, Kar'fi, and Garumba. None of those four compelled me to settle into one long-term; I bounce from one to another. I like them all well enough, but still figuring which I like best.

I'm sure your DPS is great, but as Kahless said, "a petaQ with high system mastery is still a petaQ." (Well, he should have said it...!)

But theres nothing like cutting an unstoppable swath of destruction in PvE with my Bortasqu Command Cruiser.

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement!

Fleet Mogh
ANd if we had a decent Fleet Raptor I would fly it
