There was definitely alot going on in that trailer, especially liked the Vaadwaur NPC and the Caretakers Array, possibly Suspiria? The Federation battle with the Benthan and Hazari ships was cool too. I think the worst part of the trailer was seeing that eyesore of a FED ship, the fugly 4-nacelled beast.

All in all a great trailer.

Congratulations, you figured it out. The name of the expansion is really Star Trek Online – Guardians of the Galaxy. You win one internet.

I have no idea what that has to do with my comment... but glad I won the internet anyways. :P:D

Eyesore to you, not to me. I think the cruiser looks awesome.

Nice trailer but anyone who plays KDF notices right off the bat the broken KHG uniform/uncustomized in the trailer lol.

Odds are though half of what was in the trailer though will not be possible/not even in the expansion itself which is just a personal problem I find with game trailers not limited to Cryptic's imo.

The newer ships in the few second clips you see them look good though and I'll probally get them. I would do some more dilithium/power doffing but right now its so slow completing doff missions I just haven't bothered with this game much since 9.5.

Yes, well, it showed us a Borg facility in Fluidic Space and players fighting Voth ships inside a Borg facility... those are new developments.

lol, weve already played with a borg facility in fluidic space.. do you actually play this game? lol.. but you are right, voth playing with borg is new..

however, us as the players playing with all of these races is not new.. and is quite old..

trailer looks good, need to see more before I get my heart beat up for it though..

Do us all a massive favor Devs, do your trailers like this from now on. Don't need a voice, just let the content speak for itself, just like this. :D

I need a DeLorean Time Machine for October. Anyone got one on hand? :D

Trailer looks good, really don't like the look of the Fed ship. It doesn't follow any of the traditional profiles and looks more Elachi or Iconian than Fed. I hope its not the only option availiable to play. :/

    Very good BSGO trailer!
Makes me want to jump into my viper and fly once around the block.
    Oh, wait... :o:D

Finally we can see the new Defiant/escort thing from LV screens. LINK
At the first screens from LV it looked like another Defiant clone, but this reveals a very different thing, very nice!

The FED "Cruiser" doesn't knock my socks off TBH. LINK
I'm not against the 4 nacelle configuration, but it looks way to similar to a Battlestar or at least not like a Starfleet ship at all. I wouldn't be surprised if it had 1 or 2 hangar bays and other BSG typical toys.
Not a very good design in general, But for Starfleet standards it's a terrible one IMO.
I don't get why Cryptics designers seem to struggle so much with starfleet Cruisers. It's a complete mystery to me. lol.
Who approves such designs in the first place?

The third thing that cought my interest was this:
    I AM YOUR FATHER....

The trailer itself is epic, without question. but what does it have to do with Star Trek, aside from some little Star Trek references (some ships and some ppl. wearing starfleet like uniforms)?
Seriously, did the designers already run out of ideas so they have to borrow stuff from Star Wars and BSG?

    Bottoms Up!
"...'With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured...the first thought forbidden...the first freedom denied--chains us all irrevocably.' ... The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged. I fear that today--" - (TNG) Picard, quoting Judge Aaron Satie

    A tale of two Picards

Although there are Vaadwaur in the trailer, are you sure the person fighting in the Romulan engineering room isn't Seska's son?

That toon might be a Vaadwaur but from the side it also looks like a Cardassian with Kazon hair fighting in the Romulan engineering room.

I've rewatched this trailer in 1080p a dozen times and it sure as heck looks like a Cardassian with Kazon hair and doesn't look exactly like the Vaadwaur seen earlier in the trailer.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."

Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.

looks like at least one instance of the Vaadwar. And was that a Caretaker array?

I'd lay equal odds on it being Vidiian or Krenim. the design doesn't look like the arrays used by the Nacene in Voyager.

That Fed cruiser was starting to grow on me, but seeing it alongside the others in this trailer makes it look absolutely huge! That's going to make moving out of my Mirror Heavy Cruiser sting a bit; I like flying little cruisers (shame I don't like the fleet one).

    Still, nice trailer.

The trailer looks cool, it's a pity those who experienced the graphic errors that caused a crash to desktop won't enjoy this for a while after it gets released.

'Star Wars' suffers from a similar phenomenon. Prior to Lucas releasing the Blu-Ray movies, he showed some deleted scenes at a convention. Fans raved over a five second clip, which showed Luke constructing a lightsaber. Five seconds.

That was a Hirogen Relay Station I believe.....

I have not encountered the Vidiians nor the Krenim, yet.....

The Krenim probably hold a special place, I think we will most likely see the Krenim around Season 10...
