A new conflict has emerged in the Delta Quadrant, calling for the intervention of the united factions in Star Trek Online. This announcement trailer for Star Trek Online: Delta Rising reveals the first glimpse of the trials and tribulations that lay ahead of them. Can they rise together to save the Delta Quadrant?
That I watched it twice, maybe have to watch again to catch things I missed the first and second time around. Those ziplines though look fun. Can't wait for Delta Rising. Bring it on! On another note, I miss BranFlakes numbering of the Dev Blogs, so it is hard for me to keep up with how many dev blogs we have now. I thought it was 8 but it might be 9. Oh well. Still an epic trailer!

We also have a Caretaker Array, Malon Ships, plenty of Hazari action (Looks like we'll be able to fly a Hazari ship) and some new ships we haven't seen before.
I'm also intrigued by what the object at 0:24 is, anybody have any ideas?
Tuvok being all Vulcan would 100% comply with the new uniform code, as its the logical thing to do. Not having him and his crew in the current uniform standard makes his scenes look dated, like this is 2010-2012 STO.
Thomas, get Tuvok some proper duds and update his crew. Just because he had one look for the last missions he was in, doesnt mean he could have had a uniform change by now. And really, Tuvok should look more calm anyways, the bad@$$ military style coat he wears now really doesnt fit his character IMO. The featured crew in new content should be setting the current standard look in the game. Not ignoring it.

Awesome trailer... I feel 6 years old again waiting for Xmas... I am seriously going to actually take some time off work to enjoy this when it releases.
the one in the engine room, on the receiving end of the Romulan engineer's "I know Mortal Kombat"act, looks more like a Vaadwaur (also visible at 0:36, walking towards the camera) from 6x07.

He's already in the new duds in game already. Its likely that part of the trailer was made before the change was.
Really good trailer. The new Intrepid (Voyager) looks amazing.
The only thing I did not like in the trailer is the T6 Fed Ship...it looks quite ugly but probably will be quite strong.
And dont get your hopes up about the ziplines people, odds are 99.99% thats just a cutscene they put your toon in. But I'll be sure to get a screenshot of my toons doing it for my STO screensaver album.

Usually I give the Cryptic team a wide latitude, seeing as they already get a lot of flak from the playerbase for literally EVERYTHING ELSE, but I really have to admit that I was not blown away by this announce trailer.
The images were nice, though since every star system in the game is flashy and basically unique, seeing new systems doesn't have a mindblowing effect.
I can't really say I cared for Tuvok as a character in the Star Trek franchise. It's not Tim Russ' fault. He did the whole Vulcan thing really well. It was bad writing, not bad acting. Maybe the STO team will have more success, though video games like this rarely leave room to impress players with character development.
We literally only get to see the new class of starship that's already been talked about; the one that appears to have inspiration from the movie "TRON". And even then, it's only a brief shot.
This trailer didn't tell me anything. No blurbs about "new missions, new sectors, new races" et cetera. The Borg and Spcies 8472 have been in the game since the beginning. The Voth were added in during season 8. These three races feature prominently in this trailer, as if adding them was a new thing. I wasn't particularly fooled.
I really am still banking on the new expansion being really fun. I'm not one of those jaded people that trashes everything the game has to offer because of a chip on my shoulder. I just don't see what the trailer is really offering me to get me amped up.

either u mean the space stationish looking thing or the ship to the upper back left of the scimatar? if u mean the ship kinda looks like a new carrier unless it's a delta quadrant species ship but i well say a T6 carrer ^_~
I kind of like what I'm seeing, but why are we not getting a full body infected skin yet? They're showing the liberated captain a lot in there, yet his hands are entirely different than the head. Why is that not being fixed?

Oh, when I originally played them, he was in that Jupiter or whatever jacket. I guess they already went back and did a pass on those missions to update the uniforms.
