Help with Choosing a ship.

Hi everybody. I was wondering if you elite of the elite for help.
I have some spare Zen and I would like to know which ship you would advise me to buy.
I am a Vice Admiral Tactical with Omega rep Teir 5 and Dyson Teir 5 and Undine, Romulus and Nukara at Teir 4.

    With Delta rising coming in about 2 months, I'd say save the Zen and see what comes out then.

    Fleet patrol tempest for an escort, fleet avenger for a cruiser, a tactical vesta for a sci, valdore if romulan to get the console for delta rising,

    Ya, no idea what you enjoy nut saying zen for delta rising would be a good idea

    ok so you are a tac toon. what are you flying NOW? do you like it? what are you looking for the new ship to do? I've been moving my toons to ships with sci magic and carriers. I also like flying the space whale oddy. I can't stand flying in escorts, so it's counter-intuitive to suggest an escort for my tac a sci ship for my sci and a cruiser for my engineers.

    that said, the smart money is to hang onto the zen for T6

    Just to echo what others have said, hold on to your money, there is a new, higher tier of ships just around the corner. wait to see what is on offer first.

    Echoing the "Wait for X2" line. Plus, if you're lucky, they'll do a Giveaway or somesuch like they did last year. Otherwise, hopefully you picked up a Summer Event ship or two to tide you over... or, judging by the Join Date still have a Chel Grett, which while not as amazing as it was is still decent enough.

    I too would wait for Delta Rising before spending that Zen friend.

    I actually did differently and recently spent zen so that I could have the Tac Vesta for my Science Officer. I did that because I did not want to fly around in my RA-level RSV. If you have something that you enjoy flying, then wait. If there is a type of ship you have not tried before, go to the Exchange and get a Mirror Universe version of that ship and try that out. If you absolutely cannot stand what you are in, then spend the zen, but keep in mind that things may change for the worse with the update.
