You know.. Its hard for me to really name "Everyone" that ever had some kind of a hand in my ability to PVP in STO.

Minimax will always be some one I consider a good friend. Some one I always enjoy playing with, or Against. And especially fun being able to avoid death at his hands... most of the time. :D

Husnak will always be the guy I go to for advice. And he's also a great person. Not just for me, but for the community as a whole. Laid back, yet serious about the way he plays. I wish I could play this game like he does.

Bounty, some one who I met a looooong time ago.. and in a way trying to get into his Fleet prior to it taking the huge leave from STO at least did teach me a few things about the way healing worked in STO back in the day. Sure he's long gone.. but I can't think about STO with out looking back to my first attempt to join a PVP Fleet, and Failing. Hope he and his crew are still together and pwning what ever games they play now.

Star*Dagger, for even though he was a little odd, wasn't a bad leader in that he at least knew how to run a fight. Its a shame he some times seemed to have hard time adapting to the times as they changed.

Shoshin, at the time the absolute BEST carrier pilot I ever saw. He'd do things I could only dream of. And to this day I still wish I could be half the Carrier Pilot he was.

Ash and Ghostwulf.. Definitely awesome guys. Doesn't matter if its Here in STO, or other games, love playing with those guys. And Definitely far better MMO players then I'll be.

All of TSI, for being the "Good Guys" that the KDF needed to fight. Even if eventually their Tactics became.. Questionable.

QEW, for their absolultely fun way of fighting in PVP, and for being professional TRIBBLE kickers. TURRET BOATS FTW!!

Tal-logout Jonas and Mikey/Venwar.. Because everyone needed a Troll to stomp.

Drunk, Virus, Hilbert, for being the best of the game analysis and assistance finders when it came to builds, or in Hilbert's case, for bringing PVP a leaderboard.

Heck I'd even look back when we did have a PVP Dev.. sort of.. Wish I could remember his name.. But he would even PVP with us on tribble.. curse my inability to rememeber names..

Yeah, I can't name anyone else because my memory is just terrible.. But don't think I'm not EXTREMELY greatful for those I haven't named, or those that I have for assisting me in getting to where I've gotten so far..

I just hope I can still get better... Or the game can.. Or both... Definitely hope for both...

I wish I could take a time machine back about 3 years.. Back to when there were still Fleets to PVP with/against.. Back when the Hope and Dreams of an improved PVP were still possible/plausable. Back when an Organized PVP Tournament was a good thing. And helped to bring us together... Even if it was because of bugs.. and Bug Squashing..

And of course back to other things not STO related.. but life realted. :(

Skills come with practice...cool people dont come from practice but they go with each update ... :/

I kinda feel sorry for the new people who want to pvp then they wait and wait and wait for something PvP then leave the game just like the ones before them .

Reads like it, but I intended it to be for people to put their STO good and bad memories and also to create a bit of hope if you could call it that for some of the ancients to come back maybe....

Hrmmm, had more of a feeling of being a list of characters for some cursed vampire TV series...cause so many of those names have been around long after PvP died - and - well, they're pretty much the same names through it all outside of those finally found peace and got out of here.

Oh and I almost forgot.. my favorite Rivalry for PVP Was TSI + Faithborn vs RzR + Star*Dagger

The funniest memory.. was when people started to get banned from OrganizedPVP (Back when you could unban people) Just for an arguement that was happeneing between Faithborn and Star*dagger.

PVP Needs more of that to make it entertaining.. Too bad it's probably against TOS. :(

Its becoming too loved up - no real rivalries in OPvP and i hear that it's becoming a selling channel more than anything else :(

Era Skysni@Erattiaan - thx for forcing me to become a better Escort-Player. He was pushing me to my limits over and over again in 2010/2011 when I was mostly pugging all by my self....night after night. And every night I managed to make at least one 'vape-kill' with my funny Defiant vs the TSI premade was a good night for me :-)

Klaatu/Sheela/Varos@heizluefta - for being a real friend. for being a great teammate. thx for all the sleepless nights when we were making special testings, creating ship- and teamsetups.
thx for bringing me back to STO after almost one year of abstinence.

Helsing@Helsingers - for inviting me to the best fleet I could ever imagine, Raumpatrouille Elysion. and for being the great nagus of sto and lending me so much EC ;-)

I doubt I'll get any mentions, but ah well.

As for those who I remember:

Sargon, for creating the idea of PvP Bootcamp.

All the TRIBBLE who, for a brief moment at least at the beginning of it, banded together freely to work on PvP Bootcamp.

I miss chatting with you. :) Hope all is well.

Yes, that's true. Like the original TS that Pheo let us use. Even to this day, I still appreciate all of us coming together like that, however brief it was.

It was over a year! And Killer and I pushed Sargon on his idea. I, nor killer, have EVER said we are the best at anything. All we wanted was a **** free forum (cff.) Sorry, the International BS was a joke.

** Sorry to mention... But I only had a issue when Y started banning X. More importantly, Boot Camp could still be where it was. It wasn't me that stopped it. J/S.

The people I'd like to mention are:

MT - He was the first to push me to new limits in PvP and I practiced with him often in the beginning.

@bloodmage - Would team up with me in PvP before I even joined Nova Core and helped me to learn team play.

@ogreslayer - so many hours of just testing things have produced beautiful results. Even if I am stubborn in my ways with keeping my themed ship, his ships have grown stronger as a result of our testing and in return I got feedback to improve my ship while still keeping the theme going.

Generally, all the old Dark Star team of Nova Core. Added to the teamwork system and learned how important calling targets and striking is. Even if some of them might not be on good terms with me, they are still a part of my learning experience.

Finally I'd like to mention any of the fleets I've encountered over the last few years that have made me want to throw my keyboard somewhere until I learned and adapted. They are:

    Sad Pandas
    TSI
    HOBO
    Vice Squad
    Inner Circle
(maybe more to come soon as I remember)

Aytanhi is probably the one I remember as far as real old. one of my rivals when it came to escort 1vs1 fights.

Talon Jones for all the colorful names he called me after i killed him!

The 528th guys probably one of the nicer group of people in the game and free Ralph popcorn

Trh was a fun fleet to be in did a lot of stuff in there

Horizon always ran into him in pvp matches and a good pug up buddy.

Yoda fighting him almost every day in karrat I got to see him go from noob to one of the best 1vs1 escort players in the game.

But uhm...I know all that. I know you didn't stop it, and only took away the TS after the...incidents. I fully understand why you did what you did, and never blamed you for anything.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

I've been trying to think about all the folks over the years that have helped me improve various builds by showing me the Respawn button...and you know...I'm just not sure the database for the forums is large enough for me to list them all. ;)

In all honesty though, were it not for all you good folks blowing the TRIBBLE out of me - I might never have had to take a deeper look into the mechanics to try to find something to make up for my garbage piloting. :D

edit: You know, this got me thinking about what I always tended to say about thissler's vids - that they were educational not just for how to kill, but also (imho) on how not to be killed. There was a lot there to be learned regarding what not to do, how not to react, etc, etc, etc...awesome stuff.
