Mirror Ki’Tang Bird-of-Prey wings do not animate

Mirror Ki’Tang Bird-of-Prey wings do not animate, they are always stuck in the down position. ive seen actual tier 4 versions with its wings in the up position in various places, its just a problem with the mirror version

    Having the same issue. All other BoPs appear to still be animating properly.

    So its easier to go into other bug report threads and hyjack them for your own purproses instead of just making a new thread dedicated to it?

    I'm going to bring up this old thread. It seems this problem has persisted for more than half a year now so I am hoping this gets at least a higher priority in the bug fixes. The ship model for the T4 version is working fine so undoubtedly it shouldn't be too much trouble to fix this I hope.

    I recently sent a bug report addressing this issue without looking here at the forums but just in case, the report submitted is ticket #3,368,490.

    Bumping. After the latest patch, the wings still do not animate and remain fixed.

    After the S10 patch, the wings are still locked in its downwards position.

    They're never going to fix this. It's been reported long ago, bug reports sent. It's never getting taken cared of despite the lower tiered version of this ship animating just perfectly.

    I'll remain optimistic. I'm pretty much Shawshanking this by bumping the thread with every new patch. It may take years, but someone will eventually read this, fix it, and tell me to stop bumping.

    Heads up for tomorrow. I'll be posting again if this bug remains. :cool:

    It is a good day to die as a Klingon today but it would be an even better day if our Klingon captains had animating wings on the Ki'tang.

    We're aware of the issue, but only have one guy who works on animation. I bumped the bug in our database and added a link to this thread.

    Thanks crypticfrost. I'm relieved this issue is being looked at. Kudos to the one guy working on animations. He deserves a barrel of raktajino on the house! :cool:

    ah, this old issue. how about a tier 6 Ki’Tang instead? that would properly allow for priority to be assigned to the ship model.

    At first this kind of rubbed me the wrong way with these T6 ships and all but for the KDF especially its a blessing. All that we wanted would have been T5U so now they can basically start from scratch and fill in the blanks easier that way too. Kind of like you get a shipyard on your starbase to tier 5 and then you get your fleet b'rel only to find out you cannot even use the 3rd costume the c-store brel uses and thats a lot of grinding to get that far only to find out it doesn't work.
