You can have Nausicaan boff via max diplomacy so no disadvantages for fedulans.

Barely usefull (TRIBBLE) FED console for one of the best KDF consoles. Again. Ferengi deal. Why can not you think of something new? All lockbox-only consoles (except Hirogen trap) are quite good.
Why not f.e. 180°torpedo or any vesta console , something usefull? Now all battles reminds me that TNG episode with old battlefield full of aceton assimilators.
If everyone who cries like a child that the other side has something stronger than the other, he gets the toy , I cry , I want to shield frequency generator for my ship with warp core . I guarantee that would be the lock-box sold even if the main ship would be an exploration retrofit.

Pirate wouldn't be an advantage to a Rom....but as mentioned, a Fed Rom can get it through Diplomacy if they want...but it wouldn't be advantageous to do so. Now, for a Fed on the other hand...

As a Fed Player, I guess I'll be the odd man out and say we didn't need the Aceton Assimilator.
A Federation player doesn't need this console. Equip a Photon Torpedo, Quantum Torpedo, or anything else that's not a beam array and for the love of all that is holy blast it with Torpedo Spread 3. That is the only answer to the Aceton Assimilator we need. So, I agree with the KDF Player's. All this has done has made the Faction's distinct nature's even less so. The Fed side has to much already. The only reason Aceton Assimilator is in fed hands is to milk Federation Sheep player's for more cash at the expense of STO game play. I am surprised they didn't make us pay 2500 Zen for it with a new shinny ship on the Zen/C Store.
I've played all three faction's and liked the difference's between them. Odd as it is for me to say this, I am going to say it anyway. KDF player's against this aren't whining this time. This console should have stayed on the Klingon side. It's a console unique to them. It should have stayed Unique to them. What's next? Miranda Frigate Pet's? People want those to.
KDF player's, don't abandon your side. Your the most organized and experienced player base no matter how small.

I just love exaggerations like these "RIP KDF" that tend to pop-up every now and then. The KDF will RIP when STO RIP. The core that plays KDF plays because....KDF!!
The KDF has seen far worse times than this and it's still around. We're not going anywhere.:cool:
The bad thing, however, is not the KDF getting the shaft - something KDF players are very well used to, but decisions that overally harm the entire game.

As long as the Klingons are complaining it is safe to say the development of the game is progressing as planned by cryptic.
Only when the Klingons stop complaining will they potentially stop for a moment to see if the load of bloodwine finally silenced the KDF.
No complaining from the Klingons means that either there are no Klingons left or that recent changes made them so OP that they have nothing left to complain about.
But as a primarily fed player i have to admit that also applies to the federation.

As a former modder i can understand the position from the devs.. people are going to complain regardless so let's give em something to complain about.
There is no way to get a 100% customer satisfaction for an online game and while the players here on the forum are vocal, it is safe to say they do not represent the majority of players.
So as long as sales continue at a steady pace this is regarded by the devs that the path they have chosen is the preferred one for the majority of players.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

It wouldn't be the forums without the KDF going off about one thing or another.
Everyone still doesn't realize that while yes, Feds now have access to these consoles via lockbox, the KDF still has an unlimited supply via their c-store ships. Ships that, btw, can be reclaimed multiple times. The Fed supply is limited to what can be claimed from a lockbox. And the more desirable consoles go for an arm and a leg on the exchange, such as the Plasmonic Leach. Those go for millions at least.
Also... KDF consoles tend to be more on the aggressive side then Fed consoles. However, the KDF did get some badly needed anti cloak capability with the Ionized Gas Sensor console.
And if you know how to counter an Aceton Assimilator, they aren't as bad. Well... if you're able to counter them that is... Getting caught in a group of them is still pretty lethal.

First the former has been great Romulan Star Empire are lapdogs to both KDF and Feds and now the KDF officially will become puppets of the Federation through Cpt Geko vision of the 100% Federation dominance of the Star Trek Universe, and soon the Federation through Cpt Geko's storyline and vision of his Pro-Federation Superiority in STO will have a storyline where the Federation after defeating the Iconians will have a newfound ability to have Q like powers and than afterwards declares and wages war on the Q continuum which in Cpt Geko's vision the Federation defeats the Q's therefor annexing them into their Federation.

I would have gone for USA, China, GLA as even the Scrin are too close to Nod and GDI in terms of mirror-ness IMHO.
