1. some new career paths.. game is getting a little stale with three, and only three. and three is the number thalt shall count, not 4, and definatly not 5.. 2 is too little... well getting back to it, id love to see them add some new careers.. maybe a command path, or operations path. perhaps anything to break up the same old same old this system gives us..
2. a good assortment of well thought out, and well built endgame content. ie, some stf's that are not just pew pew pew shoot em up and get a reward if you are overpowered. id like to see some stf's space and ground that utilize each of the careers, and maybe have new ways of achieving the bonuses. also, I would like to see more "fleet" actions, ie, more raid like content, which needs more than 5 ships.. I love those missions, but there is only a few ingame.. and they are getting stale as well.
3.level cap increase.. my characters need some excitement, they need to level again, and be tasked with rearming their ships with newer technologies from the ground up. I want to be able to have a new set of skills to invest my points into, and to fundamentally change how my character is played..
boom. that would make not only a great expansion, but would breathe some life into this game ...
2) A complete rework and extensive extension of Exploration that does NOT include the Foundy
This is impossible. It will never happen, not if the foundry is not the base of the new exploration system. You should know cryptic by now.. do you even think they going to waste resources (and of course money and time) in something that will take from em a lot of time and resources to waste in best-sellers instead?
The whole basics of a new exploration system were that the missions will be created by players. So, the foundry is needed. Because as you know, there is no way cryptic will start making exploration missions (thousands of em) and waste time in em. A dynamic system is out of discussion (i dont think something like that will work with the actual game engine), so thats the only way.
Anyway i am really amazed, a lot of people asking for things that will be almost unplayable because the game engine will not be able to handle it. And so many fps issues in many zones. You guys should ask cryptic to fix this before anything else. I guess this will never change. lol.
For example, the invisible weapons bug. Or the complete lack of performance in some areas. Or the incredible lag in the undine battlezone, voth battlezone, some stfs, for example. Or the loadout system, or the powerslotting problems..zzz. Should i go on??
Well yes because you mentioned something or other about critical bugs that they haven't fixed. :P
Loadouts? They fixed the most critical bug (continually reseting to an old configuration) and what we have left (as far as I can tell) is just an issue with Doffs being slotted (which on balance is pretty minor.)
Invisible weapons? That's an engine limitation. They could probably tinker but I'd rather have them not get into the heart of the game just to make new large-scale battles just a little prettier (as after all, all the old stuff works fine and that's because those are operating within the anticipated confines of the game. Cryptic is trying for bigger things now which does run the risk of hitting these sorts of walls. However that effort should be applauded , not ignored/villified because they can't get every technical detail working to your complete satipsfaction [because of course we're not talking about maintaining a standard of quality, we're talking about outright perfection since all you've done is list. There's no baseline, just an assortment of bad things without context and that's not the proper way to build an argument, or even just a response on a forum. Take the other view too.] Anway, let them TRIBBLE up [within limits] because that at least means they've put work into something other than simple minded polish.)
Now of course performance and optimization of some holodeck content is something that is suspiscious and they should probably do something about it. But beyond a little frustration, a little eye bleeding, what really is the problem? It hasn't stopped me from loving my Torp-boat Sovy or Undine Wrist lance. Though those are not terribly amibitous goals, you can say that gameplay is still working just fine. You can even run the game for days and not find anything worse than a small graphical stall at the maximum of combat, and even if one or two of the accessory systems has a niggling glitch [which is the scale of the problems we've generally been faced with, even including the worst of the loadout bugs] the technical proficiency and visual fidelity of STO is at least acceptable for the purpose. You can certainly find plenty of AAA games that have worse issues (Fable, Halo, I'd even put Skyrim well ahead of STO in terms of instability and graphical **** ups. Different games of course, but same tehcnical exercise and same industry. If you're going to start having standards of comparison you have to start somewhere reasonable [I'd go with other F2P MMO's but honestly I haven't found any that were as worth playing as STO. That may mean that I can't speak for some games closer to STO's niche and development, but I don't think that's a bad sign.])
On the other hand you could always want more, but that's just it, you could always want more. Its not a reasonable point of view, its just a demand with perhaps only a chemical base.

Well, with people thinking that way, im not surprised cryptic is not worried about these big issues.
The loadout system was a feature that never worked since the day 1. Cryptic never bothered to actually fix it, they just made a quick patch to minimize the harm of the system. But it was useless, because the basic mechanics of the loadout system (remembering one configuration and another and another) is still bugged, so no, they didnt fix a thing. And this should be a priority since months ago.
So, for you having invisible weapons is just something not so important?? seriously? you think i want to actually see my weapons because it will look "prettier"?? are you kidding me lol? you think i am playing a space fighting game and i will not care about one of the most important things players want to see in the screen, aka your own weapons firing?? dude, its common sense. They should foxus on a critical priority to fix this, before they plan to add more space content to the game. Its stupid. I dont think you really thought your answer straight.
Performance. So, you saying that people doesnt care when they are playing in the undine battlezone, for example, and they cant even see their weapons, they cant even know where to shot because there is a terrible fps lag, and the only thing they can do is to push the fire button all the time?? so , are you ok with that?? lol.. incredible.
So you think these points are "demands"?? ow.. dont say.. cryptic employer??

This...isn't supportable and I'll just leave it at that. Loadouts for me have worked fine since day 1 (not always good, but fine). There have been a few glitches, such as those I specifically mentioned (including the biggest and PATCHED bug) but nothing approaching the scale of what you're making this out to be. I simply do not see where you are coming from here, at all.
So, for you having invisible weapons is just something not so important??
Sure, it happens only in certain situations (CCE and final horde on the space battlezone) and its something that you can easily ignore given that those effects are relatively minor on the scale of what makes up a game's visual aesthetics (ships disappearing was a MUCH bigger issue for example, which by the way is another thing they patched. You see, real examples providing a wider view of the state of the game. TRY IT.)

No, I'm not saying that. Do read the post, what I'm saying is that those are not critical or even bugs (but I think we can let that one go, its a point to split hairs over.) They are something to get frustrated over (a word I did use you'll note) but performance issues at the height of combat are a pretty common thing to see in action games. The Space Battlezones problems are of particular note, but just drop your graphical settings down a notch or two and it works out just fine (I put weapon effects down to medium and I stopped having noticable problems, my roommate didn't even have to do that). The fact that the game needs that tweak on a good/passable system is a bit worrying, but no more than that and you can easily chop it up to it being an older game from a second-shelf dev.
The point (for your easy digestion) is that what we have in STO isn't that unusual. Games have assorted problems, even those generally held up as "good", given that none of them are without practical limitations and the fact that STO has recognizable glitches is simply a sign of those limitations. Adjust your expectations around those (be prepared for things to not work perfeclty in all situations, the odd reset is NOT enough to ruin a game, especially a F2P MMO) and perhaps you won't fly off the handle (see. loadouts, really what the hell are you talking about with that system?) whenever you have to fiddle around the odd glitch.
