Everything from the Klingon side! Everything about the Klingon side is ugly. Plus the obsession with those naked orc women, just ew! Although I have seen a few cute furfuzzians!
Some of those foods in the game are totally gross! Bug yuk, and slime this and that.

Some "Questionable" ship names.
I can let the female Orions go, considering I have one myself. (Granted she usually runs around in Mercenary gear...)
But there are just some ship names out there that... yeeeaaaaa.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

-Wannabe-human Orions
-Tovan Khev
-Any ship using weapons not traditionally attributed to their race
-Tovan Khev
-ERPers that don't integrate troll butthurt into their RP session
-Tovan Khev
-Anyone calling non-Escort tactical ships "Escorts"
-Any character whose name starts with a "T" and ends with an "ovan Khev"
-Anyone still insisting on having a 'screenname'-style character name even though names in STO aren't limited
-The lack of STO-exclusive lore that doesn't involve "the player"
-Wannabe canon ships like "U.S.S. Enterprize" and the like
-The inability to pursue another career in the Federation/Empire/Republic other than 'soldier'
-Did I mention Tovan Khev yet?

-White/brown Orions. The point is that they are sexy green women. GREEN!
-Mis-spelled ship names. This includes all the Enterprizes.
-Any name relating to a canon character that isn't being used ironically or humorously. It's just sad.
-Canon-babbys.
-Any Normandy.
-ERPing
-Any RP that can't handle a little disco ball action.
Moreso is Any Ship Named Normandy that isn't a damned Cloaking Defiant or similar Sneaky, Escort-y ship. Seriously, if you can't be original with a name, At least attribute it to something that freaking FITS in some way to the original source.
The SSV Normandy SR-1 and the Normandy SR-2 were both small, agile, stealthy ships.
They were NOT lumbering giants meant to spit TRIBBLE in every direction and inching along being an absurd steamroller.

Grossly out-of-proportion female toons, especially with completely non-combat-ready clothing.

- Ships named Normandy SR-1 or Normandy SR-2. If you just use Normandy, I might assume it's a reference to the Normandy region on Earth. Adding the designator, though, makes it a specific ripoff.
- Ships named Galactica. Really? You have to steal from BSG, and the title ship is the only one you can think of? What about the Atlantica? The Pegasus? The Valkyrie? Even better, what about coming up with a name that isn't ripping off another intellectual property?
- Characters with names that are straight out of canon, either Trek or another, with "clever" misspellings to "hide" the theft.
Basically, anything that's stealing someone else's idea and passing it off as your own. If you really can't think of a character name, use the Random button. Want a non-random ship? Name from a category. (My main uses the names of famous Terran scientists; he's currently captain of the USS Hans Asperger. Another uses explorers, and just graduated to the USS Meriwether Lewis. See how easy it is?)

- Spelling mistakes, especially when they're in Cryptic-designed missions.
- Inconsistency of any kind. If something comes up in a mission that contradicts something that happened in the Path to 2409, I want it fixed now.
- Sokketh's voiceover in "Diplomatic Orders".
- The lack of a standard Starfleet uniform.
- The Dhelan-class' default appearance. The type-2 and type-3 wings look so much more Romulan.
- The lack of any Reman hull materials in the Foundry.
- The lack of a user-friendly editor interface in the Foundry.
- The lack of any Terran Empire NPC Contacts in the Foundry except the battleship.
- Actually, quite a lot of things that are lacking in the Foundry.
- The Typhoon-class.
- The presence of Romulan Scimitar NPCs painted in Reman colors. Does Sela really not care enough to use traditional green on her flagship?
- The fact that the Republic chose a scary black WMD as their flagship class.
- Low-res ship models. Especially when a new version has been released for players, but they haven't bothered to swap out the old ones.
- The fact that we apparently can't get Reman or alien boffs for Republic characters.
- The fact that STO's backstory - especially the Path to 2409 - is no longer accessible from the main website. That lore is what attracted me to STO in the first place.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
- Orions in general. I'm sorry, but they're not my cuppa. I usually boast Klingon or Gorn.
- Unoriginal ship names. Yes, those include the Normandys, the Galacticas, the Enterprizes and the like. That one's a real nickpicker for me. I mean, I don't mind a Yamato because you either have the actual battleship or the space-faring anime ship and 9 times out of 10, it's the former over the latter. These? Guh. Granted, I'm not original myself - my Federation character's ships are named after not-popular-in-the-US anime characters while my KDF character's ships are named after states of anger - but still...!
- The Horta's slurping sound. I was routinely creeped out by their sound when I got my first headset for my computer and I kept hearing that.
Players who kick and scream about what is and is not canon.

STO is based on canon trek and there are a lot of elements on sto that support that, only recently has there been a lot of non canon additionals, but even then it needs to be star trek when it is considered non canon stuff to the game, meaning no matter what canon is apart of this game. you see how easy that was and how hard a fail that was? now as far as whining is concerned, well, thats not my place thats his/hers in the quote.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Every federation ship except the defiant class and its other variants.
Ships with wings. (we're in space remember)
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

For the record, I named most of my ships on famous ships from tv and movies, like Galactica, Sulaco, and even Event Horizon, and input the release dates as Registry Numbers, simply because I wanted to honor those famed ships or their films.
As for original names, I came up with Retrocausality for my Mobius Time Ship, simply as Causality would have been the opposite if it were Federation, and not Terran Empire. Only a few other ships have original names.

Anyways, while I don't mind ships named after famous ships from film and tv series, what I don't like in STO is no Admiral's rank uniforms for All Good Things AND 29th century/Wells Class, and that the movements of the characters don't match up when they're talking.
The overly flirtatious Orion female captain... because I'm pretty sure that's a guy. Who won't leave me alone. No, I'm not going to ERP with you, please stop humping my character while I post stuff of the Exchange... <changes instance>
Swimwear for the upcoming Risa event. Sure it seems like a good idea, until you realize you'll likely end up with Letheans in banana hammocks and Tellarites in bikinis. The real kicker... the body textures won't have been completed for those species, so we'll end up with them both sporting Human torsos.
Folks that try to shoot others' ideas down by citing cannon. Yes, I know how I spelled it; the folks I refer to don't know why that's funny. I have no problem with citing canon, but if you're going to detail oriented enough to cite canon, be detail oriented enough to use the correct form thereof.
Just "Ew":
The sound defeated Founders make.
Elachi faces. And experiments. Pretty much the Elachi in general. Which makes them a pretty neat bad guy, really...
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
[edit]Oh, and those little pet raptors that aren't raptors at all, or any other sort of dromaeosaur. They're actually baby Voth bio-engineered dankanasaurs, which look more like a nanotyrannus that someone glued a crest and a sail onto for some reason. Don't get me wrong, they're cute an' all, but don't go calling 'em raptors. I mean for frick's sake, Jurassic Park raptors aren't even really raptors, and these things don't even have toe claws...[/edit - I could go on but nobody would listen.[/edit]
Pretty much everything else, I'm cool with.
...Oh, baby, you know, I've really got to leave you / Oh, I can hear it callin 'me / I said don't you hear it callin' me the way it used to do?...
- Anne Bredon
- The fact the Romulan Republic uses Ha'apax warbirds as their battleship mobs instead of D'Deridexes (D'Deridexi?). I get that they were trying to be different, but one is awesome and canon. The other is... not.
- All those aliens that look like people were just hitting the random button rather than actually making a species that looks like it belongs in Star Trek.
- I don't mind the guy himself otherwise, but I loathe Tovan Khev's voice. He sounds like he's about to go "hey dude, the pizza's here."
- The Maelstrom class design. Like, what even.
- Receiving a non-Klingon boff on my KDF chars. I like my Klingon Empire canon, thank you very much.
- That mission where you see the Elachi subsuming Romulans. *shudders*
Feds don't salute in the shows, Klingons and Romulans have their own 'kinda Roman salute.
Yet ingame we are all saluting like an earth military. Not even the cool 'palm facing forward' salute used by almost everybody, but the 'palm downwards' one.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.
