How about a bug report on the item itself for not working as advertised.

How about a harassment report on the players for their behavior, regardless of the form it takes, since clearly its intent is hostile.

Oh wait that would mean cryptic has to actually fix bugs. Silly me.

Anyone else test Wildstar beta and notice how it had less bugs than STO has now?

Given the things players do that Cryptic doesn't take action on, this is unlikely to help.

    Thank you OP.

    To Cryptic:

Regardless of any argument, some players are not okay with this. The onus is on YOU to fix their feeling of being griefed.

Why do you allow this schism to exist?

Lerpyderp, it has nothing to do with pixels and everything to do with the intent behind the behavior. Your setting up some nice strawmans though and I'm sure others will come to knock them down for you.

Please observe the impotent passive rage of subject A, seen above in figure 1:

Note how the suburban white male, once removed from the comforts of one known as "mother", immediatly resorts to attempts of exerting entitlement as well as feeble and insecure emotional arguements.

Take special care to note their perceived view of a "schism" existing between themselves and society and their unwillingness to question whether such a divide is perhaps of their own making or not.

Let us take further time to observe if the subject now wishes to choose between it's fedora, it's inhaler, or commenting further on an arguement long ago lost due to it's meaningless nature.

I think I've stumbled upon what Cryptic's response might be to your reports:

I have. As well as hundreds of others like it before.

Anyways, I'll get to the core of matters:

Harden up, or go find a single player game. I recommend finding a therapist to talk to as well if you really have that huge an issue with a disco ball in an MMO. Talk to your family if you need help finding one.

Now, because I enjoy having fun, I'll be on Droz dancing under the holy light of disco. Any and all are welcome to join in and party just for what it is: having some social fun in a social game to pass some time.

And that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so, eh? Your argument has already been approached in this thread. Go read about it.

Oh get over yourself, I've advocated a client-side "no disco ball animations on my screen" toggle for a while now. . . :

A toggle would be fine . . . as long as the developers do not spend more that 60 seconds to design and implement it. There are a TON of important items should take priority over a "Doesn't play well with others" toggle.
Have you tried the new forum on your phone?

A reference to American wrestling speaks for itself really. Also it's less arguement, more a hard fact of reality. I have the feeling it will be approached over and over until certain people understand that their sense of entitlement has little effect on how things really work, both in game and out of game.

Anyways, I provide the above form for all to fill out should they wish to file further complaints: http://i.imgur.com/OuN1fbj.jpg

The reference was derived from your attitude. Oh look at the fleet your in! Keeping it classy as usual, eh? ;)

Apparently, it's a game-breaking bug for the summer event.

Personally, I just want it gone because it's old and tired. I don't really do social zones that much or do anything that a party ball could interrupt.

Well that was a lot of fun.

Let me rephrase a few things here as a few people got warnings in this thread -

    • Flaming/Trolling - NOT ALLOWED
    • Name calling - NOT ALLOWED
    • Posting ways to circumvent cool downs - NOT ALLOWED
    • Posting ways to circumvent cool downs to harass players - AGAINST IN GAME POLICY AND IS ALSO NOT ALLOWED ON THE FORUMS

The command itself is fine afaik and a dev can say otherwise or not.

That said, after a lot of looking at this thread I'm just going to keep it closed as its just going to continue on being worse and certain things were reported up the chain for investigation.
