Space the final frontier. These are the voyages of [your name here] on a five year mission to gain one level after the delta rising xp nerf.

Yeah, new 'unrealistic' things are being frequently added. Hopefully they just add these abilities 'legally' to the character editor so all the whiners about it being however bad can stop whining. Well, and more diversity never hurts a character editor. Especially if you can already make a Yoda or Darth Maul or whatever unfitting stuff anyway.

You are ok, but the 80% of the rest of the people arent. Who cares anymore, right? lets put tails on gorns claws on the romulans feet!! party!!.

I'm curious how you got that 80% number, and if I'm included or excluded from it. Because you know, 99% of statistics called upon in conversations are just bullcrap.

Well I recently saw some kind of hack where someone could immediately switch his whole costume, even size and stuff like that, making him flash that my eyes hurt. That's maybe a little bit much in terms of what could reasonably bother other players

Binding separate costume slots to key combinations is completely possible. Its just the same type of hack as making effect icons larger or (in old days) changing beam colors with console commands.
May 2013, automatic permanent ban for mentioning gold-seller sites
pwebranflakes: this system is currently in place and working the way it should.
moradum: I got banned for saying "I started my day with cutting off 3 MM off of the bottom of my cabinet"

That's not a hack, that just means he probably had his costume slots tied to key binds so he could toggle through them as quickly as he could press his keys. :P I have my shift+numpad keys set up to switch between my costumes.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

Oh cool, thanks for clearing that up then :D

Never seen anyone before doing it, and apparently I still don't know all that keybinds can do.

i always thought Gorns should have tails ... they're reptiles after all ...

as far as it goes with people with more costume options .... good for them, when there's a new season, the game gets more bugs and a big chunk of the old ones never get corrected or addressed.

the only time i see a immediate "Bug Fixing" is when they seem to be loosing money out of some thing they're pushing on players, which is sad, because it would be nice to see the same diligence with game breaking bugs, it would transmit the idea they actually care about a long time commitment on making this a nice game.
now, don't get me wrong, i do see the developers making some efforts in fixing some bad stuff too, i just don't see the same diligence in fixing the awful bugs.

so, I'm not really band wagging with the jellous people that come winning because others have something nice that jealous people don't have, because it gives me the impression they winne about those things, out of jealous and the old "if i can't have, no one can" thing, which is a really ugly attitude.

but the bottom line is that there's so many other game breaking bugs that really impact on the game, that should have priority over much other stuff.

for instance, Defera invasion zone, the city is still badly broken and despite not being a "top last content" lots of people still enjoy roaming Defera invasion and engage in borg combat at will, even despite the loot being restricted to MK X and being mostly useless ... people still enjoy the simple things, and it's the simple things that enjoy people, that keep them playing the game for longer and contribute to be a popular game.
