Boff rewards go into overflow bag and stay in there

D'vex reward from Devil's Choice completion was put into Overflow Bag. Attempting to take D'vex results in an "Inventory full." error when there is ample space in both candidate roster and inventory.

You're not going to be able to move him to inventory - you can't move BOFFs that way...but you get the error when right-clicking and selecting Move to Candidate Roster as well?

Had the error myself, and other like this. This solution seems to work well:
First, make room in your inventory. Make sure for this exercise, the top rows are empty.

If you're playing with multiple toons (or not) log out.

Log back in under the character with the loot bag issue. Normally the loot bag dialog box will automatically appear. Select All, or drag as necessary.

I have this same error and right clicking it doesn't do anything.

I tried emptying top rows and relogging too, but didn't work. It is the second toon that this happens. Not sure why.

I'm having the same issue. I tried the steps posted above. I also tried filling up my inventory, getting more items in the overflow bag and clicking take all. Everything went in my inventory except D'vex. I also restarted the computer and chose Force Verify before logging in as a support email told me to do, but of course still same issue.

And me. None of these "solutions" have worked. Just "Inventory full," "Inventory full," "Inventory full," over and over again when that is patently not true.

Is it possible to reacquire him if you lose him or delete him?

i've just got the same problem with the feature episode's reman boff on my federation character.

i had too many boffs sitting on my candidate list, so when i got the reman he went into the overflow bag. the bag was originally inaccessible for some reason, but after i filled up my inventory and got one extra item, that got fixed.

i cleaned out the candidate list, made sure inventory's nearly empty and even deleted one of my existing boffs.

unfortunately, i'm getting the same problem as everyone else now. can't take him out of the overflow bag no matter what.

Two out of two on the Reman officer from Cutting the cord going directly into the Overflow bag. Lots of room in inventory. Cant get them out. I seem to be hitting all the bugs in season 9.
Have you tried the new forum on your phone?

ive had the same thing twice now, i have the breen officer stuck in my overflow bag on my main character and the reman is now stuck in my alts overflow too. in neither case was were my bags full both characters have space in active and reserve rostas yet these characters are still stuck with a boff they cant use.

Ditto. Event Reman Science Officer went straight into the overflow bag even though the main inventory wasn't full and there was a spot on the roster. Now he's settled into a comfortable life on an overflow bunk and refuses to budge.

    Are all Remans this cowardly?

i got around my problem by discarding him, then getting another one after i got enough space for him. then he just went into his space on the candidate list like he should. maybe it had something to do with him not wanting to enter my inventory as an item.

sometimes, especially on klingon alt when i get new boffs, they go into my inventory, from which i can move them to the roster.

or maybe i was just lucky, who knows.

Discarding the offending critter and reacquiring him doesn't sound much of a solution to me... though I'm glad it seems to have worked. Trouble is, if it doesn't... then that's 12 pointless missions undertaken. It needs fixing, is all. It's not rocket science.

I also did the event Breen Officer reward sequence... worked fine and now the chilly chap is awaiting a station though to be fair, he's a tad... underwhelming.

But the Reman? He's still loafing around in overflowbagland... refusing to come out and play. The bugger.

This worked for me on a second character. Thanks for that x

Will do it again on others... but the first character is still having overflow problems with cowardly refusenik Remans. Bah.

Also having the same problem. Romulan science officer I got for reaching level 45 is stuck in the overflow bag. Plenty of room in my roster and inventory, but trying to claim him I get "inventory full".

So, i received the Breen boff reward from the FEs, i had the inventory full and now i cant retrieve it from the overflow bag. It says all the time i have the inventory full.

I know threre were issues with this with other rewards (the one from the Devil's choice episode, for example), but seriously?? this is getting ridiculous.

I have a similar problem with the Reman BOFF from Cutting the Cord. He went straight into the overflow bag and isn't recoverable. I get the message "inventory full." I sold all my BOFFs but two from the reserve roster, have two unoccupied Bridge offizer slots, and plenty of space in my inventory.
    I'm a KGF-aligned romulan Tac.
I'm posting that here as I can't create threads until "a certain amount of time has passed".

I myself made a ticket to see if i could get some help but it seems my ticket did not even got read as the reply to it was not very helpfull.

My Question: [I even included a snapshot where it clearly showed that it was stuck in my overflow bag]
Hey there i today did the mission for the special bridge officer but since i did not have any open slots, it got into my overflow bag where it is stuck now.
I was hoping this could be fix since i made room for it again.

    The answer i got:

I had the issue you are describing. I tried a few things that didn't work, and I'll tell you so that you don't have to repeat the actions:

Log of and log in again: Didn't work

Removing BOffs from roster: Didn't work

    Reloading the game: Didn't work

Reselecting the mission and then try to claim the Breen form the overflow: Didn't work

Get two more BOff slots (I had none): Didn't work

Rearranging the items on the inventory to another slot (I noticed that another BOff I had on the inventory was stuck on a specific inventory slot, so I figured the Breen could be trying to be allocated to a specific slot as well): Didn't work

    Getting another item: Didn't work

Clearing the whole inventory: Didn't work

Now, for the bad news, what made it work:
Dismissing the officer and playing the mission again to get another one. Since I now had the Boff slots available, I recruited him.

Yeah, i was thinking on doing the mission again and thats it, but honestly, i am a bit tired xD. The mission of the Breen boff is really long and really consuming. I just posted the issue cuz i feel its getting ridiculous so many bugs every time. I guess i will repeat the mission again..

Thanks for the reply and well i tried most of the things you said didn't work.
But you sure that when i discard the Boff from my overflow bag that i can reclaim it by replaying the mission?
I do not want to risk loosing him completely but i do not mind to replay the mission if that is what it takes.

The way it worked for me was to have a free BOff slot (active list, not queue), dismissing it from the overflow bag, then selecting the mission and doing it again. At the end, when you collect the rewards, I selected the Breen Boff and selected the Join option.

The problem is, most of the people will NOT want the Boff to join automatically to the crew, my case for example. I want it to stay in the roster list, thats all. The Boff itself is not good, in fact almost every boff i have is better than the Breen one, the Reman is better, but its curious so i wanted to keep him in my candidate roster :P

But better thinking, im not going to replay the episode again. Too much already. I have my limits lol. I gathered the boff for 5 of my toons and thats it.

Yeah, I get that. I recruited him just on the "colletion" side of the thing. It will not be used either for ground or space. That's why I will only get it for 2 characters.

EDIT: Ah, he does not join automatically. It still gives you the choice to select. But I don't know what happens if you have room and don't choose to add him. Maybe he goes to the bag again.

    ITS BUGGED.

It doesnt matter if you have room in your inventory, it will go to the overflow bag anyways , so there is no way to have him in your roster candidates instead on your station slots. "Good" job again, cryptic.. zz. I think it happens on romulan characters, since i ve already did it 5 times in my previous fed / kdf toons with no problems.

I know it's bugged. What I am saying is that I, personally don't know how "far" it's bugged, because when I tried I didn't have space either on the active BOff neither on the BOffs queue. And when I tried again, I had on both places.
So, I know that the second time around it gave me all the choices, but I took the "recruit" way. I don't know if I could still get it if I had room on the Boff queue but not on the active roster. I don't want to mislead anyone.
