Since it's got universal seating, a Mirror version wouldn't make sense, unlike the Vo'quv, Qin, Negh'var, etc.
I'm not happy with my Torpedo build on my B'rel-R though, it just isn't enough boom-boom-pow for me. Might try it again after these fixes.
I think the Romulan T'varo and possibly Dhelan/Dhael should have been considered, but with the SRO stacking and Singularity nonsense they're probably as op as they need to be.
How do you flank Armor ?
How do you flank a round shield ?
My Fed characxters Demand 3 masts with sails be installed on there starships so this new ..Flanking damage they are about to recieve is more realistic
just saying .......................................
Saphire.. Science ground......Ko'el Romulan space Tac
Leva........Tactical ground.....Koj Romulan space Eng
JJ-Verse will never be Canon or considered Lore...It will always be JJ-Verse
Tribble files shows secondary deflector icons, so they're coming as the Dev Blog about Dyson Destroyers stated it, but no official announcement has been made yet.
Just finished listening to PriorityOne interview with Geko, saying pretty much the same thing. I'm really starting to hate this kind of attitude.
"Yeah, those Fleet ships suck. Go buy the OP scimitar, vesta or sci oddy instead".
Also, it's kind of sad to see the Ch'tang on the screenshot when there is no Fleet variant of this ship available at the endgame...

"We know that the Aquarius sucks, but we aren't going to do anything about it. lololololol!"
Oh and uh, good stuff on the raider buff. That's cool.

No, if you listened to Geko's interview on Priority One the Aquarius was pretty much added to the game playable as an after thought. When the Odyssey first came out people kept asking for a playable Aquarius but it wasn't on their radar really (neither the Aquarius or the Ho'Sus were planned to be playable). When the Fleet system came around they added the Aquarius in because they already had all the assets for it and people were still asking for it.
That said, I agree the Aquarius is *NOT* a raider. Thats just not in line with Starfleet. Its meant to be a support ship so I say the Aquarius should get some level of support-craft abilities. Perhaps the Shield and Tactical Cruiser Commands + the flanking damage bonus? Its not gonna do alot of damage compared to other escorts but it would make it more of a DPS-er with Support Powers.
TRIBBLE Hydra! Hail Janeway!
The Plesh Brek also lacks cloaking, and was the lead ship for raider flanking.
I have to ask: if it was meant to be an escort or destroyer, why does it have the same raider negatives as the Plesh Brek (hull and loadout) but not the same raider advantages (flanking)?
I'm pretty much fine with it being an escort, but as it is right now, it's not an escort. It's basically what the Danube used to be before The Vault made it useful - a thing you could buy and then occasionally notice it in your ship list while you changed between ships that weren't it. The only difference is that it's tier 5 and not tier 1, but Aquarius vs. Defiant now is a pretty similar comparison to Danube vs. Miranda then.

I do agree with some though the b'rel-R doesn't have enough bang for the buck not sure how this will address it though since shield tanking pretty much is a counter to its EBC mode.
The stern of most combat sea vessels is more vulnerable to attack than the bow, and while the front end of top of the line tanks are nearly impenetrable except by highly specialized weapons, the tops and backs are frequently vulnerable to light rockets.
In both cases, one side is full of components that can't be fully enclosed (propellers, exhaust, access hatches, etc) and one is meant to be pointed at the enemy and is just guns and armor. There are variations, as well - WWII era battleships were more vulnerable on the bow than the sides, but every machine has weak points, and in a game, they're usually given the same blanket weak point for mechanical clarity and ease of balance.
I completely agree. Just spend 5 minutes in Ker'rat as Fed to see this ...
it got put in the game because a lot of people wanted to fly one(it's a REALLY cool ship) but at every turn, it gets indirectly nerfed, and NEVER buffed.
Can i ask why? I love my aquarius, it moves like no tomorrow... but while i paid for one on one toon, i just can't justify buying another for my other fed, regardless of my love for it, as it isn't worth it anymore.
SOMETHING for it would really be nice

In other words: the more powerful ships are getting an upgrade in order to kill the ships that NEED the upgrade instead but aren't getting it.
You are joking right? B'rel ships are KDF vaper's choices, a good vap can take out most players in one attack.

Honestly I keep waiting for that. The way these ships are increasing in power every time. Fighting against another human player will be like having your teeth pulled without Novocaine.
I personally stopped going to Ker'rat because of all the cloaked ships. It's like noting can decloak them and when they are decloaked for a second, you're already dead. The easiest thing would be to have a tier system for PVP, but obviously that won't bring in immediate money, so they ignore it and focus on lockbox ships and their prized cash cow,...the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship.
