I have a Level 15 Klingon, was doing some stuff at First City and saw - Beam to Bortasqu' - at the transporter room. Then I remembered - Cool it's The Day of Honor. So I beam up to the flagship, talk to Captain Koren and all the crew. Then we go off to test some new weapons against Species 8472.
I was puzzled when the computer voice told me to destroy the Undine ships using some new torpedo that was equipped on my ship. I looked at my ship - it was just my ship with what I normally have equipped. I shrug and go destroy the unarmed targets. No problem. Then they yell UNDINE and the real ones come in. To make a long story short my Bird of Prey went poof about 5 times before the other klingon ships helped finish them off. At the end it beams me back to First City. No mention of any reward for doing the mission etc. In fact I don't think I had the mission at all.
So I click on mission journal and flip through the pictures until I find the First Contact Day one, I click the Hail Button and accept the mission. I beam up to the Bortasqu' again from First City Transporter. When I get to the Undine part I am still in my BoP, without the special weapon. This time instead of getting ganged over and over I cloak and let the Klingon ships fight. At the end the mission completes - still no mission reward even though I had the mission this time.
So - third time being the charm I take my ship to sector space and see a prompt to begin this buggy mission. This time I was shown a cut scene of the flagship and I was piloting it FINALLY. It was crazy easy then. All I had to do was click Fire at Will once and everything goes BOOM and I'm done. Got the mission rewards this time. A funky bat'leth and choice of Lobi or Dilithium.
To top off the bugs, I kept hearing "You will not die this day!" every time it went to a different map. Thanks for the goodies, Cryptic - but apparently you guys still hate Klingons or didn't do proper testing on this at all before releasing.
I think the mission points out why the KDF had not already won the war...
CRF/CSV don't do much good on a boat without cannons.
They also slot Zero Point Quantum Chamber consoles with no quantum torpedoes.
As for the thread. The mission works fine if you start it from Omega Leonis approaching Qo'noS. I assume that the other methods of getting there are just bugged and should have been removed.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

Yep, they should have had a Bartender on the boat we could ask what Day of Honor means to them - with them saying they're busy watching the crew get drunk.
Same thing with the Feddies, although I prefer my vesta over the enterprise, but yeah, this seems to be a bug on all factions if you don't do this from sector space. I've filed the appropriate bug reports with screenshots.

I noticed the same thing when doing it with my Klingon, very annoying having to do it twice.
Weirdly when I switched to my Romulan Alt she now has the random voiceover about dieing that you mention everytime I change map. Scared the hell out of me. Thought I'd gone insane and was hallucinating my laptop threatening to kill me.

Yea... I noticed the cannon abilities on a beam boat. I like the fact they gave her beams instead of cannons because that big brick turns like a brick, so beams make more sense. But Cannon BOff abilities? There's two wasted BOff slots.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I was getting that as well! Found it pretty creepy!

They probably copy pasted the build from the other faction, and later changed to beamboat because it was a bit too difficult to use cannons.
But yeah, I noticed that to, and I had a good laugh.

I don't know about you, but every bartender I have had has turned out to be a changeling spy
"I am a travelor of both time and space to be where I have been"
Also a bug that is quite irritating. When you warp back to sector space, you have somebody yelling "we're here to help" or the klingons yelling "you're not going to die to day". Repeatedly.
Also, I am so glad I never bought the scimitar, I hate that slow bucket of bolts.

For anyone that encounters difficulties in starting the KDF 'Day of Honor' mission, a thread that can help in figuring out what is wrong and how to make it work:

Funny, after commanding the Lleiset I made a new Romulan who is going to get a dreadnought warbird. I took a look at its build and decided that I could do better. A new challenge after making that dreadful crime Cryptic calls a Galaxy-X dreadnought cruiser playable.
Btw, I had a hilarious bug: On my third run with the Lleiset I decided to test the thalaron generator on the first group of disabled bioships (since thalaron radiation is especially effective against organic targets according to Nemesis). As soon as the generator started charging the bioships reactivated, started shooting at me and scattered.:D

Thanks for the heads up, I will start all over.
On a side note-
Now THIS is a bridge. I think it's bigger than our starbase. Football anyone?
