Agreed, I want my Aux Power to affect my Grav Wells and every other sci power
If they're going that route, remove the tactical ability buff to sci damage. Why the heck does a tac captain get to do more damage than a sci one?
On another note, I don't like the fact that the weapons power drain proc from the new Undine rep shields doesn't scale with flow caps? A 2.5% chance to drain weapons power by 10 is a pretty pathetic bonus.
this is not going to go over well with science captains whose main source of damage comes from exotic powers instead of weapons...especially since science captains are the ones who usually have the highest auxiliary level and therefore could've gotten the most benefit from this passive
I tend to agree, it would be nice if the Tier IV Nukara Offense bonus provides an exotic damage boost and perhaps even a shield/power drain boost.
I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p
If your (Cryptic's) content wouldn't involve so much grind and repetition I doubt people would be so hung up on it.
But I guess ESC will still work (at least in some cases), so no big deal in this particular instance.

Please enable us to buy a token with Zen to faction change a 25th Century FED to a TOS FED.
The Tier 4 Nukara offense change is pretty disappointing, another slap in the face to Sci Vessels in PvE. Speaking of keeping Sci Vessels down, how come we have yet to see any indication of Secondary Deflectors for the rest of them, and a greater variety to choose from? We were told these were coming "soon", and Season 9 in many peoples' eyes would qualify for that statement. Ditto for Comm Array slots for Cruisers.
Why don't we just get 8/9 space trait slots and 8/9 ground trait slots so people don't have to go through the hassle of swapping every time they change what content they're doing? There's more than enough space in the interface for it.
Unskippable cutscenes are usually a point of discontent when there is repetition, take Final Fantasy were Square puts some 5 minute cutscenes to showcase the boss ... and then you lose ... and have to load a save before that cutscene ... and have to watch it again ...
Its a problem with repetition because after we seen it once about 10 minutes ago we really dont need to watch it again, when "Alt Shuffling" that due to "limited events" this becomes very annoying.
Not to mention the massive unskippable cutscenes that we already HAVE (in Second Wave, when the Dominion first appears, and when first beaming down to Mol'Rihan, for instance). Neither skip keys have ever worked there.
Please undo the Aux Power Offense to weapons change. Sci powers need ways to do more damage, it would be nice for sci ships to feel more effective, rather than their distinctive stat and power levels just going to more gun pew-pew for FAW boats and so on.
Unskip-able cutscenes? Why!? At least rebind the skip button to escape! Watching every cutscene in the content every time you play it gets quite frustrating what with the feeling of "Yes, I see that enemy there, WHY WONT YOU LET ME KILL IT INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT IT IN EXTREME DETAIL!? Despite the fact I've killed it several DOZEN times already!"
I think that New Romulus Command could use a few minor upgrades that would substantially improve the QOL (quality of life) for Romulan players who spend time there.
1. Security Officer DOFF contact: Pretty self explanatory, I'd like to be able to turn in contraband and other things while spending time at New Romulus Command. There are several of these spread across the galaxy and it just doesn't make sense that a Command Center wouldn't have one.
2. Allied Faction DOFF grinder: As we all know Romulans can use their allied faction's DOFFs. What they cannot do is grind them up/down conveniently due to faction specific grinders. It would make things less frustrating if there was a universal grinder stationed at New Romulus Command.
3. Lore Mission Contact: For those of you who do not know, there is a Lore Mission located at two locations depending on FED/KDF. It is located at the respective academies, and with the course of the mission you gain insight into the game's back story. Since a large part of the game's backstory deals with the fall of the Romulan Star Empire, and the destruction of Romulus itself, i believe that new Romulus Command should have a way to educate Romulan players on their rich history.
Any chance these additions to New Romulus Command could become a reality?
It is an Energy Weapon, so it benefits from the 5% bonus.

Most sci pilots were looking forward to this power being useful to boost exotic powers, which are sorely in need of some form of power, if only for the fun value, compared to the 90 gajillion ways to boost weapon damage.

As I understand it you will not be able to skip cutscene by hitting the Spacebar, although you still will be able to skip said cutscene by hitting the escape key.
this change was made to help those who mistakenly skipped cutscenes when spamming the spacebar in space combat. Correct?
Either way we need a more detailed explaination of the change

Weapons drain = (0.0667 * Flow Caps) + 10

IS it possible for the Server Status indicator to change to show the status of Tribble when we choose the shard and do our patch.

2 years of playing STO and this is the only update I've been iffy about....
Please, if it's possible, add an option to the game menu, that will allow us to turn on/off the option to hit spacebar and skip scenes...
Does this include social system space maps such as the Sol and Qo'noS systems? If not, why not?
