I thought of another SciFi series with ships I'd love to have:

HMS Fearless (CA-286) Star Knight Heavy Cruiser (Honorverse)

HMS Hexapuma (CA-412) Heavy Cruiser (Honorverse)

Those are some wicked ships. They each took on terrible odds and gave more punishment than they got... (and they got a LOT of punishment).

They don't fit in the Trek universe, but the ship to ship combat scenes rival anything we've ever witnessed in Trek.

I've got to say, I'd suggest one important amendment... the Jupiter 2, plus a reliable map reader.

(Honestly, you could tell Don West was driving it, couldn't you? Maureen Robinson wouldn't have been too proud to stop and ask for directions. :D )

    Definitely the Serenity from Firefly...

"You had the Alliance on you, criminals and savages... Half the people on the ship have been shot or wounded including yourself, and you're harboring known fugitives."
    "Well, we're still flying."

Does V'ger count as a ship?

    And Gomtuu.

And always, always a Galaxy class cruiser. I want to live on it but not put up with all the weird TRIBBLE the crew went through all the time.

2 Midway class super carrier (Wing Commander: Prophecy)
3 the pulsar skate (Star Wars books)
    4 F7c-s Hornet (star Citizen)
    5 RSI Constellation (star Citizen)

    Normandy SR2 for #4
And a Fleet T'varo with the Jem'hadar space set (just looks cool) for #5

    The Tardis - Dr. Who

    Andromeda - Amdromeda

Tough call on this one, so I will have to round out my top five with a tie at number five.

    Death Star - Star Wars
    Borg Cube - Star Trek

    And for S&Gs.
Planet Express Ship w/ Sigourney Weavers voice - Fururama

Assault Scout from Star Frontiers. Nice & small, very fast, and heavily armed for it's size.

They were slow but not silly. Ion cannons, a droid and an extra turret is always nice.

Agreed. I prefer Y-Wing over X-Wing any day.

My top five ships to own are as follows:

    1. Enterprise N.C.C.-1701-J (Star Trek: Enterprise) - seeing it realized in the Ships of the Line calendars, I would LOVE to command a city ship like this.

    2. The Millennium Falcon (Star Wars: Ep. IV) - would be my space camper home away from home. >=3

    3. The Nell (Battle Beyond the Stars) - Another space camper I would add to my list. Not just because of the "TRIBBLE."

    4. Trimaxion Droneship "Max" (Flight of the Navigator) - who wouldn't want to have a talking ship named Max that can go at ANY SPEED?! >=3

    5. VF-2SS Valkyrie II (Macross II: Lover's Again) - this slot goes to a fighter, and I choose an anime mecha from one of my favorite OVAs. I love the fighter mode on this thing. The design kicks TRIBBLE. It's so sleek IMO (even if the VF-25 from Macross Frontier owns it now).

    HONORABLE MENTIONS:

    - White Star (Babylon 5)

    - Nostromo (ALIEN)

    - Discovery One (2001 & 2010)

    - Bebop (Cowboy Bebop)

    - SDF-1 Macross (Super Dimensional Fortress Macross/Robotech: The Macross Saga)

    - The Heart of Gold (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (film version))

    - ANY ship from the Tenchi Muyo! anime franchise (Ryo-Ohki, Yagami, Tsunami, Ryuoh, etc.)

    - Tied with Sol Bianca (Sol Bianca OVA) & Nirvana (VanDread) for similar layout.

    - Naboo Royal Starships (Star Wars: Ep. I & II) - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-U6YOr1AxK8E/UM0xAOPOkEI/AAAAAAAAL8I/q-E88UFWr5U/s1600/naboo+royal+starship.jpg & http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091201140705/starwars/images/2/2b/Royalcruiser.jpg

Won't include a list of star trek ships (except Enterprise-J), cause I already have them in STO. >=3

    Enough said.

    TIE Phantom

Complete with battle cloak too, it's my favorite looking ship of all time, My fed caitian main who sometimes dresses like an Imperial officer would love it =^.^=, It's a lesser known Star Wars vessel for sure, but it's a beauty! Truly the escort of my dreams! Closest thing I find to it is the breen raider, if only it had a cloak XD!

My main ship: Traditional Galaxy Class, with Covariant shields and a mimetic skin (I control the color).
I'd call it "The Deep Black Desiatto." [sic: I know it's misspelled, I like it better that way.)

This would not be a warship – this would be a luxury yacht. [With a TON of 'defensive' firepower, and a HUGE, FAST engine. Just in case.)

The Heart of Gold. So I could figure out a way to go back and save Doug.

    'Sall I need.
Please reconsider ARC. Please make it optional, at the least. PLEASE.
It seems the vast majority of your most active players (forum regulars) hate the idea... and while that's a small subset of the playerbase, I think it's an important constituency.
THE PLAYERS DO NOT WANT THIS.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.
