@azniadeet - I'm still catching up, but I *saw* you online the other night (at DS9) and I must say it was a little like seeing a celebrity on the other side of the street

You should've said hi! Maybe we could've run an STF together or something. If you see me around at DS9, I'm usually up for STFs. And I'm no celebrity. :P
I have a long term goal of turning Aznia and her crew into a flash based cartoon. It's a lofty goal, and I don't know if I'm going to find the time to have the project turn out how I want it to, but I'm already in the process of designing the characters and compiling the story of the pilot. It's a long way's off, but if it turns out how I envision it, it wlil be something very cool.

Someday we should all come together and swap stories somewhere. But I'm usually on the front lines of STO trying to get dilithium on an industrial scale, which is why I keep putting off my LC's at the last minute.

And that explains that. usually I'm on the front lines watching other people and trying to figure out what to do next :P
Before we move on, just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on my entry?
Sorry it's taken so long to read it, but that was a lovely entry  It borrowed from existing canon nicely, without drifting into 'self-insertion' which some can. It had a really nice pace and flow. My only critique, is there was once instance where you'd written Aznia instead of Anne, but other than that, I thought it was flawless. It reminded me greatly of the episode with Jake as an older man (if I remember, I believe his guest was Andrew Robinson's daughter), but not in an imitative way

Hmm, that sounds like an idea. Maybe an LC get-together at DS9 or Drozana is in order at some point?
Still reading a lot of the LC's, but from what I have read:
jonsills: Short and to the point, a nice prelude to the final battle. I like it.
grylak: Very nicely-written final battle! I like how the Allies had the idea of using the Solanae Dyson Sphere as a chokepoint, and also like how you wrote in the Undine (and had them blow up the Sphere). I can't help but wonder, though, at who got the business end of that Omega destruction over in the Delta Quadrant....
azniedeet: I love it! The reference to "Far Beyond the Stars" was a pleasant surprise, and I enjoyed the all of scenes between Benny and Annie. The battle scenes, short as they were, also had a very nice, grim, end-of-the-world vibe to them. Overall, well done!
Well, while we're waiting for the next LC to appear, does anyone want to meet up anytime soon somewhere? We can have some sort of LC party where we meet the protagonists of each others LC's. Incidentally, anyone have any thoughts on my finished LC?
Agreed, it would be interesting to have Arkos meet some of the other protagonists. Not today, though, as I kinda have several appointments and interviews to go through today.
@azniadeet - I thoroughly enjoyed this piece! I caught what @marcus said as well, but overlooked it because I knew what you meant. This was really good and the last sentence was brilliant!
@zidantribal - The Tamarian was an excellent choice for this piece (maybe because I just watched that episode ) Well done on that. The rest was apocalyptic and a major downer :P Yet, marrying the LC to the MU event was a great idea!
I'm up for a meet in game. Will need to be arranged a couple of days before hand though. And the question is, does Stunshock turn up, or Talaina, since she's taken over my LC lead.

@worffan101: Your second entry was quite impressive, especially with the twist at the end. D'trel and Omek'ti'kallan defined the story very well, and the rest of the Vengeance crew gave the story some delicious flavor.

Thank you!
I liked your story a lot; strongly written and in your typical style, very nice. One quibble: How much use is a 25th-century ship going to be hundreds of years later? I mean, it's just...given Trek's typical rate of technological progress, and comparing the Lord English to, say, the Ent-J on anything except looks is not a favorable comparison.
Otherwise, I liked your story a lot. Another excellent entry.
I've just joined said channel. It'll be nice to meet you guys in the black.

Since Smirk seems to be unavailable, do you guys think that we should ask Trendy to come up with something for the next prompt? She's in Ten Forward and the forums in general a lot as it is, so I figured it might not be too much to ask for her to whip up a quick prompt.
Alternatively, we can do a quick vote in-game on what we want the next LC to be (from the community thread).
Just trying to punt out some ideas to get us a new LC to write about...
If we do that slavers idea, I can write up what's been happening with Stunshock. Since he and a fifth of the Sentinel crew were sold to the Orions months ago.
I also have some ideas that involve Arwen looking for her other half. So if we are going for votes, my vote is 'Slavers'.

My vote's for one of my own ideas: "Fourth Wall? What's that?"
Also, I'm on the LC geek channel if anyone wants to chat in-game.
I think we should exercise a little more patience and wait until Tuesday next week. Then send a "PM" to the Community Management concerning this issue: a precedent has been set and must be maintained.
At the same time, LC 60 is available to keep creative juices flowing and in that envelope is a previous LC where "Freestyle" was the topic

Eh. I'm not a patient person, but I'll see if I can wait. I have First Contact Day to distract me, at least. So I'm playing STO in my Spock ears with my bat'leth letter opener by my side and my acoustically-accurate TNG-era Klingon disruptor at my hip.

Because awesome.
I did my taxes yesterday ... I will NOT be buying the Enterprise B soon

Aaawww...:(
I am now playing STO in my Spock ears, posting on the forums, drinking from a Klingon-themed mug of hot chocolate, and watching the Kung Fu Panda fight a genocidal peacock.
And now for MOAR REVIEWS(insert gratuitous number of exclamation marks here).
worffan1: Finally read yours, and I laughed so hard my sides hurt. Curse you, you gave me hurting sides.
Also liked your curious story, although now I'm curious if the name "Odo'ital" is canon at all.
lorelei5: Powerful piece, I loved it.
sirboulevard: Very interesting twist on the whole doomsday scenario. I like the idea of things being so bad that the Federation practically falls apart from within, not to mention the twists at the end with Mol'Rihan and Sela. Overall, I liked it, especially since you managed to convey the full impact of the war while still keeping it focused on Brendan's perspective, before and after.
zidanetribal: Awesome story! Like everyone else, I like the inclusion of Procyon V and the Sphere Builders, and how you tied it all in to the Mirror Invasion event. And like everyone else, I love the inclusion of the Tamarian officer-- I always figured that writing Tamarian dialogue would be difficult, but you pulled it off really well.
moonshadowdark: Ooooh, cliffhanger! I hope part 2 doesn't take too long, as I'm really digging what you've written so far.
cmdrscarlet: A nice, short and enjoyable battle scene! It's not every day you get to use someone else's ship as a giant torpedo.

Here's some topics that I'd like to see:
-an officer exchange program
-a mutiny
-the trial of a war criminal/traitor.

Dammit dammit dammit.
There WERE about four instances of that when I finished my rough draft, I thought I had weeded them all out.
It's surprisingly difficult to write two characters who share one presence of mind without confusing them. :P
Thanks for the feedback though!!

And waiting for our next LC...Smirk, if you can hear me and are having trouble with a prompt, just grab something from the community thread again...
*Sits in Captains Chair*
Now we wait Worffan, for the others to join us in cyber space.

Muah ha ha ha!
*Cat disaproves, gives a weird look*
Huff.. fine...
So where is that new LC?
I thought I saw Smirk on already?
