Crashing due to on demand patching?

I am suddenly having troubles getting into the game. I get an error stating that it fails to initialize on demand patching and that it has timed out. I am confused, I have disabled on demand patching, run through arc, disabled fire wall, reinstalled, restarted, restarted my internet, I can patch just fine, but once I click engage it goes to the splash screen and then freezes. Nothing has changed on my computer in the past few days that I am aware of, and it worked after the patch, just not this morning. Am I missing something?

    Try running force verify, this detects any corrupt files and fixes them.

    I have, I have also completely reinstalled the game. It's doing the same thing on the other system as well now.

    Have you guys run a tracert? It sounds like you're not able to connect to the Cryptic servers at all.

    The servers are working, so there could be a service disruption between you and Cryptic.

    Oh and another company is claiming some regions are having internet problems and is affecting their games, since I can't log on there either I am guessing it's the same problem an hopefully will fix itself eventually, despite my tracert looking good.

    Yesterday (Sat Mar 1) I suddenly ran into similar issues with launching STO in terms of connecting onto the game server.

    After I startup the launcher, it just shows:

    There was an error loading the login page. Please restart the launcher and try again.

    Error -118 when loading url /launcher_login

    My internet connection is fine, and my tracert seems to show slightly higher ms values near the game server's end of the connection.

    I've submitted a ticket but I don't know how long it will take for them to get back to me. The thing is though, I was able to get online last Thursday Feb 27 without any issue, and since then NOTHING has changed on my end.

    I don't know what they did with their networks, but something must have changed and now I can't even launch STO.
