Ok.

Apprently (according to hints in the extra storage thread) there could be some good news later on today. So let's get the speculation going.

    Dreadnought is reasonable.

    I'm hoping for Mirror Invasion though. I'm hoping that that revamp won't take too long and that they announce that the xp weekend is the relaunch of Mirror Invasion.

    I'm going with either something with the Dreadnought, something for A Step Between Stars II, or the starting countdown to Season 9

    Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
    JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

    A remark has been made that indicates an obscure ship people've been asking about is going to be released.

    Captainsmirk smirked, which is kinda cliche, about the Gal-Dread being released.

    We have the Constellation saucer (or did) on "Heavy Cruiser" hulls.

    If a ship is announced today, the betting begins now:

    CONSTELLATION odds 5:1
    Gal-Dread odds: 68:1
    Other ship: 3:1
    No ship: 2:1

    PLACE YOUR BETS!
    Proposals for using in-game features to improve: (1) the "Phaser Lance" (and other underrepresented/missing "big guns"); && (2) separation systems on all ships that have them; && (3) training boffs in captain only powers by using boffs as pack-mules; OR to add functionality like: (4) "Away Teams Of Space Ships";

    I'm hoping whatever "major" announcements they said were planned for this and next week are more than about ships.

    Meh... Doubt that...

    If I were to venture a guess, it MAY be a second C-Store Galaxy (read, not the one already ingame), that has some kind of extra feature of sorts.

    Alternatively considering the new increase in inventory slots, it may be something to re-box certain Grab-bag ships, though I find that unlikely.

    Maybe the ability to use the Monarch skin on all Galaxy variants, also being able to create a Monarch, Envoy, and Celestial dreadnaughts.

    The next FE will star yet another Voyager alumni.

    My fingers are crossed for Ethan Phillips as Neelix just for the tearful reunion with Tuvok.

    Though I'd be more than happy to hang with Kate Mulgrew's video game stand in.

    Well if memory serves, he is the prime example of disrespecting customers, so his opinion carries very little weight with me...

    And it's more canon than any of the TRIBBLE they've been pumping out these past years.

    83% of statistics are made up on the spot. :P

    I think the Galaxy-X revamp will happen during season 9. Though I would love to be wrong if it's sooner. I'm betting Constellation, if any.

    I am thinking Constellation update news today.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    I do believe that later on today it will be announced that I am being elevated to the status of Supreme Overlord of the Galaxy, esq.

    What else could it rationally be? It is long overdue.

    I doubt it's gonna be like the Excelsior. Mostly because the Constellation was made as a skin for the Heavy Cruiser Retrofit and that was a Mirror ship, a 200k Fleet ship and a Fleet module ship. I doubt they'd make it a C-Store ship.

    Why has no one guessed that the Gal-X is getting the saucer sep ability yet? Y'all were screaming for it before.
