Well that puts me at 2/3 success from the giveaway so far. The Defiant bridges will be a wellcomed adition, but as someone who plays KDF a lot I had to have the Bird of Prey bridges ages ago.
Hopefully this will get people into trying the BoPs and experience how immensly fun they are to command. I mean you have the coolest looking BoP, the Hegh'ta, availible for free while you level!

Based on what today's giveaway is, I predict that tomorrow's giveaway will be:
A T5 Federation Escort, possibly a Defiant Retrofit. (Pretty please?)
A T5 Klingon Raider, possibly a B'rel or Norgh Retrofit.
A T5 Romulan Tactical-oriented ship, possibly a T'varo or Dhelan Retrofit. (If the devs decide to be particularly generous to Romulan toons.)

Honestly don't think there'll be anything for the Rommies, as much as i would appreciate some stuff for my Rom, all those ships are actually pretty new, so pretty unsuitable for a giveaway... You know there won't be rom T5 ships...
You do realize, they are giving away this stuff because they don't sell very well (any more), right?
There is no more money to be made from them, except indirectly by doing publicity promos like these.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I'd actually count the gameplay-technical advantages (Extreme Crits, sing powers,...) as some kinda love, as well as the fact that the rom faction has been built out as well as the klingon faction - in half a year instead of 4

Because the entire last expansion pack was devoted to Romulans, and with it came new traits and new singularity powers that nobody else gets. And then there's the Scimitar, just to name one.
With all of the hype surrounding the Delta Quadrant and Voyager, we have yet to see a single Voyager item given away in this giveaway. Free stuff is always good and I am glad that both of these giveaways have not been level restricted. :cool:

I don't mean to be terribly negative, but you're promoting this "Pre-Anniversary Giveaway" as a way for PW/Cryptic to say thank-you to your customers for our support in making STO so awesome, and yet those of us who do support you and give you money are the least likely to receive your gratitude.

I know these sorts of complains came up in the similar Summer Giveaway. Perhaps you could learn from them. Perhaps in the future, you could offer an alternative prize for those of us who already have the offered items unlocked. Maybe some sort of resource boost device or crate of dilithium...
Just something so your loyal customers aren't left out.

With the new Ship Loadout System, you can set up multiple ships (including some of your allied vessels with these bridge packs) to switch over to for special events or STFs and boom, freebie is used and enjoyable for all!

Yeah, but once Romulan character choose allies (KFD or Starfleet), they can buy and use they allied faction ships (and there you can use their bridge packs) :P
