To celebrate our upcoming 4-year anniversary event (which starts next Thursday, 1/30 - more details soon), and to thank you for making 2013 the best year for Star Trek Online yet, we are excited to announce that we will be giving away FREE C-Store items next week! As we will feature something different each day, you won't want to miss out!
Each day around 10AM PST, starting this Monday, January 27, 2014 and until next Wednesday, January 29, 2014, we will be posting a news article letting you know which item is free! To claim it, simply log into the game on an eligible character (we'll list the eligibility requirements for each item in the individual news posts), visit the in-game C-Store, navigate to the item listed in the news post, and click the "Claim" button before the next day's giveaway. The best part is that the price for each of the announced items will be 0 ZEN, and they are account-wide unlocks!
We hope you are as excited about this awesome promotion as we are, and we thank each of you for your support of Star Trek Online.

Players have noticed that the epic threadnought about the Galaxy started a year ago on the 28-th and are even organizing a community Galaxy event on the 28-th in this thread. And since your giveaway overlaps with this date I think that I'd be awesome if you gave a Galaxy-R cruiser to the players so everyone could participate in that community gathering.

Also.........since you guys recently increased the cap on the amount of duty officer and ship slots we can purchase from the c-store, how about increasing the cap on the amount of account bank slots? I have purchased all 4 upgrades before I bought lifetime sub and got 2 free with lifetime and it's still not enough room. I would gladly pay another 1,000 zen per row of account bank slots from the c-store if I was able to purchase any more.
P.S. I saw your recent post about being engaged and getting married this summer. Congrats!
Well during the summer they didn't give away any romulan stuff in the c-store. I think it was pwebranflakes that said the reason was because the romulan stuff was less than 3 months old.
So I'd say there is a chance they will give away a romulan outfit and/or maybe a romulan ship. (Last time they gave away the Yellowstone Runabout (fed) which I already owned, and To'Duj Fighter (KDF) which I didn't own. I'm hoping this time they give away the Scorpion Fighter for rommies.
Monday: Racing Uniform
Tuesday: Exeter/K'Tanco/Dhael
Wednesday: D'Kyr/Varanus/D'ridthau
I'm pretty comfortable with all but the D'ridthau; it's the highest level ship that the Roms have without giving away the farm with the Haakona, so I figure it's the top contender.
I in no way picked all of these things because I have none of them, either.
I have a capped Fed and KDF. I just have not capped the Rom yet.

K'Tanco doesn't have a C-Store variant, though. So it'd be the Qaw'dun or nothing at that tier.

Any hints on how many ship slots we should available for the next few weeks
Brandon has already said they will be different than what they gave away last time.
Last time they gave away a tier 5 ship for Fed and KDF on the last day of the event. I think the ships they gave away required you to have a level 40 character of the appropriate faction to claim them. I'd recommend getting your character to level 50 if possible just in case they decide to give away a ship that requires level 50 (Vice Admiral/Lt. General).
Ships in the c-store have a minimum rank (level requirement) to be able to use it. If your character is not at least the minimum rank, you won't be able to claim it. But you will be able to claim any ships they give away on any character of the proper faction that is of the minimum level requirement. If they give away a free ship for each faction on the same day, like last time, you will be able to claim all ships with characters that meet the requirements and are of the appropriate faction.
Ships range from Tier 1 to Tier 5. This has a list of what rank you need to be for each tier and what character level range each rank/tier is http://sto.gamepedia.com/Player_rank
I'm also guessing the Racing uniform, but guessing the Bellaphron (the Long Range refit) and the Armor retrofit
