Crashing on the LoR Loading Screen...

What's the current situation?
We have a fleet member who's currently suffering from this, but it wasn't mentioned as a known issue in the last patch notes. Is Cryptic still looking into this problem or are they under the impression it's now resolved?

I've had this problem recently and was unable to get in game, but I can get in game now if I use safe mode and check the box before I enter my password
