Missions (like Patrols) load slow

It seems like various missions (like Patrol missions) load very slowly...it takes like 15-30 seconds to load a Patrol mission. When I move to a location like Nimbus, though, or up to the starmap, it loads a lot faster. Is there some reason why one moves far faster than the other?
