Ok, professor, enlighten me, what's an infestation?
Yes, humans can, and do, manufacture their own adaptability. SCUBA gear, spacesuits, and yes, penicillin antibodies, are all adaptations, not normally present in the human body.
Transgenders are manufacturing their own adaptability too.
Yeah.. capnkirk4 was amusing for a moment, but his/her humor got old really fast.

I wonder this too, how is this thing not closed yet?
Well, on the one hand it falls into the typical wild west weekend sort of thing...limited volunteer mods living their lives and such, tends to lead toward threads lasting the weekend that wouldn't last an hour during the week.
edit: Course, I sent a PM about the thread back on Friday around noon-thirty Pacific time...and the thread was already at 183 some replies at that point. So yeah, hrmmm, only 36 posts over the weekend'ish...this thing should have died before the weekend hit. Curious...
On the other hand, folks replying to the threads are bumping them - keeping them alive - during the weekends as such. I know that I'm replying to this, and thus bumping it again in doing so, but it's mainly to point out the following...
Report violations, do not quote them or reply to them. Responding to a violation in an inflammatory manner is a violation in itself and will result in appropriate action. It is also important to not abuse the Ticket system by excessively reporting posts, sending false alarms, or nonsensical messages. Abuse of the Ticket system can result in an infraction for spamming.
Yeah, it's kind of kettle & pot here, heh, but they'd prefer that we didn't reply to certain things or bump certain things, yadda-yadda-yadda....if folks stopped replying or bumping by posting things not directly related to the thread - there is an underlying thread still there...can be traced back to the OP and all that...though I'm disappointed we haven't gotten into the powdered mash potatoes discussion yet as I predicted the thread would go...but there's still the underlying discussion that's basically the only sort of discussion that should be taking place, eh? And if that discussion dies out, then it dies out...keeping the thread alive with other discussions isn't keeping that discussion alive, yeah? Oh well...
The smart thing would be put this new flagging system to work and finally end this monster but who has ever heard of me doing something smart. The show must go on!
