So far I hadn't bought any C store KDF ships. Since there isn't too many that got my attention. I have one on my mind, but I'm in no hurry to purchase it.
USS Casinghead NCC 92047 launched 2350
Fleet Admiral Stowe - Dominion War Vet.
Honestly.. I think all of the KDF purchases I've made have been worth the money.
I still make use of most of the consoles on my various characters as well. The only ship that might have been a waste in hindsight would be the Phalanx - but even then, the barrier was still moderately useful (against charge up attacks and super-ship explosions) until I got the subspace jumper.
The only KDF ship I have bought and parked with no intention of ever flying again was the Qin Mirror. C-store and fleet ships were all bought after extensive research.
Same is true for the other factions. Mirror ships have been disappointing but cheap so I use them for parts storage and act like I did it on purpose.
Non-Fleet version? I plan on getting the Fleet Corsair as soon as they put Fleet Modules on sale again.
Back to topic. Happy with all my purchases and just got the Dacoit.
The closes would be my Fed Vesta (not that there is anything wrong with it.) But I'm pretty much full time KDF(Started Fed). I pretty much treat my Fed like Cryptic treats KDF
Looking forward to buying the new KDF ship next year!

There aren't a lot of options for end-game KDF ships in the C-Store, so I bought the Vandal for its console and have been mulling over my options ever since. Mostly, I'd love to buy a 3-Pack with their near-Fleet quality... but the Bortasqu' doesn't fit my preferred play style; okay, that honestly just translates to "I like turning". The funny part is, the Cruiser Commands actually made ships like the Kar'Fi less desirable to me since they are actually slower than the old whales that can now rock Strategic Maneuvering.
Anyway, I use the Event ships and spend my resources making them and the cheapo Mirror variants useful. I've never regretted getting one of those thanks to their negligible cost and the chance to try something new. There hasn't been an end-game C-Store ship released for the Klingon faction since I started playing, which doesn't really help, but maybe the upcoming ship will catch my eye if it isn't delayed too many more times. We'll see, since I'd prefer something of the same quality as the 3-Packs available on the Federation side.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
Same here.
The only "ship" I ever purchased and later retired was the Vor'kang skin for my BG Vor'cha.
I replaced it with the Fleet Kamarag, a ship more suited to my needs.
But nontheless the skin served its purpose very well and there are still some of my ships that use the console to great effect.
Overall Im happy with my purchases though I do wish some KDF ships with more thoughtfully designed or not cheap clones of existing fed ships and instead had layouts more fitting to the KDF race is was creatd for to use.
Corsair Flight-Deck Cruiser:
The tachyon drone scam got me. At least fix STO wiki so people wont be tricked into buying a ship for broken-useless hanger pets. Fleet Corsair Flight-Deck Cruiser still cost 4 fleet mods also. LOL. Double scammed.
Orion Marauder:
Cryptic gave these away for free for 1 full day. I used zen for mine
Qaw'Dun Bird-of-Prey:
I thought I was getting passive console, and I got scammed again. They fix console data a week after I use Zen on it.
So much incorrect data and information I'm afraid to buy anymore ships... Good job Cryptic.
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.
In fact the most sad thing for me was having to stop the usage of some because they underperformed.
I really liked the look of my 4-wing Klingon ship or my weird looking ship that gave me the sub-space teleport
I would have liked to have used those nacelle and body and wings on my higher level ships......but for some reason the developers didn't want to do that.
So instead I simply have a bunch of ships that all look exactly alike with a broken interior ship view screen.
Seriously...just how tough is it to change the variable on ship skin values to allow for the other types....I am thinking maybe 5 minutes of effort...but no....instead they simply give everything the exact same 2 skin types....the same ones I choose when I started as a Klingon to now as the highest rank.
Guess the only way I can ever get more ship selections is to simply use 3rd party mods....so at least I can look at the different stuff on my end.
Power without Perception is Spiritually useless and therefore of no true value.

The 4 winged option is available on the Fleet Norgh so assuming you have access to a fleet you can still fly a ship with that look.
And please don't use 3rd party mods or better yet don't even speak about using them on the forums, it's the kind of stuff that when used can get you banned.
My KDF engie has the exact same skill setup as my Fed engie. Ship has the same Engie and Sci consoles as my Fed's Oddy. And the (a)Bort cruiser dies faster in every single engagement.
Buying that ship felt to be an even greater waste of money than that time I bought 100 Lock Box keys and didn't get a single ship out of the 100 boxes I opened (that includes mirror ships).
Time is a funny thing; There is always too much of it. Except when you need it the most, then there is never enough.
Never cared for Tribble, but yeah, more research into opinions should've been done before I made that big buy. Hell, simply asking buddies and other KDF players would have done that job
There is no KDF ship I wish I didn't buy. Every single one of those I purchased has pulled their weight in any encounter and every single one of those is silly fun to play around with. Every T5 KDF ship I have bought is still used by at least one KDF character I have.
I impulse-purchased a Fleet K't'inga which is never going to get much use, since that toon already had a Tor'kaht and some other nice ships. Should have saved those modules or sold them. Oh well.
i think my biggest purchase regret on kdf was the guramba... then again, it took some fenagling to make her work well, so it's now a good ship. though def not my best shoice
People trying to turn this into another Bortasqu bashing thread
Only purchase I am not using much now is the Karfi due to drain being not as useful anymore with all the FAW spam and so much power sources, and until recently lack of a fleet upgrade.

Only ones I skipped are Bortasqu (moves like bus on flats) and Varanus (free fed lvl 40 sci ship reskin).
Also got, used and loved the new T1 BoP, albeit briefly, though I love (parts of) the skin for my B'rel retro.

Bortasqu' 3 ship pack.
Huge waste.

Yes, the Bridge on the Bortasqu' is actually quite nice and fitting for a flagship.
