I have one BIG request. Please increase the max number of ship slots as I'm maxed out. I know there are more ships coming and I cannot purchase them without more slots. Right now I'm having a hard time decide which ship to decommission.
Business wise, it doesn't make sense to limit ship slots as ship purchases are a major source of revenue for the company.
Please consider this...I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.
The explanation that has been put forward for time in memorial is there are limitations to data storage that are involved in the ship cap. Without knowing how the information is stored in the database, I cant even begin to surmise what it is.
Basically though, until there is a change in the data storage of character information, the limitation will likely stay in place. If you have cstore ships (and dont use them) you can dismiss them and reclaim them with no penalty. HOWEVER do NOT do that with box ships, Bad Ending that.
They should think about removing the "Still Gotta Catch 'Em All!" wallpaper. Even though I can understand and relate to the reasons why they can't increase slots, it still feels like it's mocking ship collectors.
Well coming from world of tanks, you can in theory have limitless tank slots, but guess what you want that many tank slots, gotta fork over the cash.
I could see maybe getting 2 more slots for our personal dry dock, but over that why give up a potential cash cow?
Come on guys get past the tech part and start thinking $$$. I mean you can buy 2 ship slots for 250 zen ya know.
Why in the WORLD would PWE give that up?
And frankly even if you got 3 characters you can literally mine enough Dilithium and exchange for zen in a few days to get 250 zen. Doesn't take that long.

I believe what the OP might be talking about is that, even after buying the maximum number of additional slots from the C-Store, some people still end up running out of space to store all their ships from Rank-Ups, Lockboxes, Lobi Store, C-Store, Fleet, mission prizes, etc.

That would make no sense.
