I literally got a 26 kill streak with the beast. Activate every attack buff possible Uncloak, and they're dead in seconds.. This seems a bit unfair, No?
(The kills mostly on cruiser and other escorts. I stay away from science ships but I still got around 6 kills from them.)

Ummm your doing it wrong, why did you decloak first then buff up, your supposed to buff up first then decloak and unleash your fury
Considering I can pop all my noisy buffs within 10km of farmers, come out of cloak without even bothering with subspace jump for convenience, and then grab then in a tractor beam, shoot their shield down with a beam overload, and have them dead with a THY quantum torpedo a couple seconds later due to a firing delay, doesn't make me or my ship a pro. It just means the guy I'm killing is terrible at situational awareness. Or if I kill the same combat inept guy 26 times.
(Though my Defiant is great at alpha strike killing, assuming that my torpedo doesn't have a firing delay.)
It's really not unfair; I honestly don't know whether you or your ship is good or not, but just cuz you got a 26 kill streak, it doesn't mean anything.
You do realise the quality in Kerrat are usually farmers, not PVP vets, if you think 26 kills makes you a pro, why not join the PVP queues?
You've got a real good point. PvP queues are for fighting because you believe you are tough and want to prove it. Bushwhacking farmers is lame and shows a lack of self-confidence and ability; even noobs can do that.
I agree with the responses in this thread. I fly a bop on one of my main pvp chars. It really is a nasty thing but it takes a LOT of finesse to not get yourself killed vs competence.
Mine isnt even a spiker, its a hull melter sci magician. Though a good crit on the transphasic cluster and nukara mines can and will one shot a cruiser if it is a very lucky roll.
That being said...
A single tractor beam or gravity well will ruin your whole day in most cases. Or mines being used to follow you around.
I had a hell of a fight in an arena yesterday morning with a tvaro that was pretty pro at using his singularity jump as a grav well and popping me out of cloak. It was very very high speed and strategic. We killed each other 1 time each.

Well good for you, in target selection, if nothing else.
But this can't be taken as proof of anything, especially without data on your opponents. I mean, even a Patrol Escort could take down a less-skilled bugship, but that doesn't mean anything's unfair in the Patrol's favour.

You may want to try out a que or two. Although I'm fairly certain you won't get kudos for that either, you may enjoy it more.
I don't even think of myself as a particularly awesome player, and I could probably rack up a killstreak like that in Ker'rat if I just shot at farmers. I can tell the difference between killing farmers and killing people actually looking to PvP, and killing farmers is BORING. I mean, what's the point? It takes little effort to vape them, and the only way they survive most of the time is if they react and are good enough to throw me off, or if I mess up my attack run (liable to happen with a BO2 + HY3 quantum combo) and merely injure the target rather than killing it entirely.
Ker'rat is at its most fun when you're engaging people who are there to actually PvP. Then it becomes much harder and challenging to use BoPs to kill people, because Cryptic has made it much more difficult to ram in a killing strike in 3 seconds.
I go in Ker'rat in a Tactical Bortasqu, get jumped by someone, and when I don't die 3 of his friends show up to kill me. I can't go near the cubes because there is literally a federation player on every one. When I go in my Fed character, I don't get any kills because everyone else is already camping the spawn points.
They need to make Ker'rat instanced so that the same number of Fed and KDF players occupy it, with extras left with no opposition as opposed to forming gank squads.

Feds have this trouble too. I get jumped by a bird of prey and when he can't kill me he cloaks and waits for his friends to arrive, i then get de-cloak alpha attacked by 3 or 4 bop's at the same time and instantly vapourised.
Its Kerrat. The equivalent of a Moshpit that occupies a retail food court where the shoppers must hunt their own food to enjoy it.
It chaos.
Glad you had fun OP though next time your prey may surprise you.
If you're a klink hunting farmers in Ker'rat, you're looking for easy kills. I know this because a lot of the klinks that vaped me did it when I've just finished a sphere or a cube and all my best abilities are on cool down. They aren't looking for a challenge, they're looking for instant gratification and it's a shame that they feel justified in their "skill" when they decimate people that are not prepared for, and not seeking, PvP. For being a faction that prides itself on prowess and honor in combat against worthy foes, they sure don't live up to that ideal. They act like cowards looking for the handout of easy prey. If I see a klink harassing a farmer, I never back away from a fight that isn't a certain victory. I go after them so that they have to deal with me instead of the farmers.
I've learned a lot just taking on the vapers that harass the farmers. My builds have improved, my skills have improved, and now I stand a good chance of turning the tables on them. The only time I get my nacelles handed to me is when I encounter a pro or a coordinated team. Some of the things I've learned is that you don't stray from backup, they'll pick you off gleefully. Save your strongest heals for when they try to alpha you; TT and RSP will save your bacon. Anything that neutralizes their speed buffs will balance the fight. If you can knock out their engine power, their movement buffs are worthless. If you knock out their shields, they typically pop the speed buffs and run away to cloak so they can recover for another run at trying to vape you, expect it. They invariably go for the easy kill and avoid those that can effectively defend themselves.
Go here and show your support for a better Foundry!
Yeah, and? So you can sneak up on someone and kill them. So can every other klingon AND romulan player. Yet you all drop like flies or run away when it comes to pvp and facing opponents who are ready for it. Go hit it up in pvp and tell me how you do then.

I really dont like the implying that "running off" in a bop is being a bad player. I always come back when the demfawlolhax are on cd. You think im gonna sit in that?

I didn't notice I typed that out of order. Thanks.

Sometimes you're tired...you're 9/10 on Fed Ships...eh, stuff happens.
Willard the nat 9/10 on fed ships!?

Heh, 9/10...on the Defeat Starfleet Ships mission.
Pop in Ker'rat, find somebody otherwise engaged...er...say hello, mission complete, and pop out of Ker'rat again.
He's still a Gnat...c'mon, 4x VR Mk XI Warheads (+18.8%)...how could he be anything but Gnat? :P
Does every thread have to have Stop Having Fun Guys?
Congrats, OP. You must have had fun. It's important to have fun when playing a game.
CUUCUUMBEER! "-With slight partigen with it."
Proud member or DPS-800 "-We kill dem mines with our scitter turrets."
I still use only rare mk XI consoles, remember popping my fair share of odys with 3 warhead consoles and a full on torp boat.
That's way back in season 6 though when the Feds didn't have all the KDF h4x0rz consoles

Wouldn't be a problem if it was just in the spirit of fun - but when the OP brought 'unfairness' into it.......
