Hey guys, I'm trying to log into STO, and when patching, I get "Error 36: A File was locked that could not be open for writing" when patching is complete.
I've recently installed the latest version of STO from Arc, and I know this version doesn't have a Star Trek Online.exe.deleteme to move like last time.
Can anyone help me out with this problem?
What am I doing wrong? And how do I fix this problem?
Check your admin settings, and make sure that Arc/ STO is listed under the Admin options. Also, running in admin mode also typically resolves this issue.
