What is with the patches I've already loaded all of them

What is with the patches I've already loaded all of them, each time I log in or out now I'm getting the launcher window or login screen showing me the status of a patch. This must be a problem with a do while loop because there isn't any completion it just doing while the launcher isn't seeing that's it been done at least five times.
I've seen other postings so I know I'm not the only one getting this screen, however it is likely the cause for the recent disconnects and crashes other players have been getting as it may result in a memory leak.

    Happened last time right before LoR. Just ignore it until after next Tuesday.
